To’o is one of the best players at his position in the game

He can make dirty meters, not tall, not quick - and not voted in the 2 best wingers in the comp for the last 2 seasons and very likely won’t be this year…

He’s often outplayed at origin level and he’s just not the best winger in the comp… one trick pony.
Would be lucky to be picked in the top 6 in this years comp…
The likes of Lomax and Warbrick have left him for dead..

This hasn't been his best year and that's damn awesome stats. I am not including his run meters which put some of our forward pack to shame.

I honestly don’t think we’d have enough money to throw at him to convince him to come over with how much we’re already spending on API, Jarome and others. Sunia Turuva probably cost us a chunk too. In any case it’s irrelevant right now, we can’t approach To’o for another 2 and a bit years.

Yeah, who rates a winger who consistently averages 200• meters per season and is an excellent finisher?
Not flashy but is a huge reason his team wins so often.

Yes thats true, but the equivalent that is younger, is still a current SOO player. They will comand high overs to come here and at the end of the day, they are still learning themselves.
The blokes towards the end of their career who have played SOO and for their Country are the ideal choice to bring the Fainus, Pole, Seyfarth and the young guns yet to debut through. They are fully professional and seasoned campaigners, expert at preparation, mindest, understanding the game etc...
I thought Api, Klem, Bateman and Paps would have been great for this but they have all really struggled. None of them are natural leaders. We need to locate some. Frizell and RCG are good candidates.

You haven't been watching our outside backs for the last few years. Rubbish in attack and defence. Im preying we don't re-sign or extend any that are currently playing for us, aside from LL.

Wingers should be produced not bought.
To’o is good but if he wants to come here on a normal good winger price than fine otherwise go and extort money for some other sucker. Thanks.

To'o for us would be huge, covers a position in the backline and provides us an extra forward for our pack that at times just cannot generate momentum. Just depends on how much is he worth. Easily the 800k we offered Steph. For a winger that's insane but to'o is also a wrecking ball when hitting the ball up, so I think he would be great value.

Sam Burgess as assistant coach would be fire. He's doing well for Warrington in the UK but it's no secret he wants to coach in the NRL.

Wests Tigers could be a stepping stone for him, put himself in the shop window and wait for Wayne to finish at the Bunnies in 2 years and then he takes over as head coach.

More likely he stays in the UK as a head coach but he would toughen us up and bring a bit of steel to our players alongside Benji's calmer Bennet-like approach. Fire and Ice.

All due respect if the belief around here is To’o would not significantly improve our backline and our team then that is what is wrong with our club.

The guy is ten times better than anyone we have in that position.

If he isn’t top six, then our backs are not top sixty.

I would almost rather play with one winger being To’o than the crap we have dished out on the wings this year.
