Fonua Pole is set to be targeted by Melbourne Storm for 2026, however Fonua Pole has expressed a desire to remain at Wests Tigers.
That'll do me, how the N.R.L can just sit around while the struggling clubs are turned into the reserve grade teams for the more successfull ones is beyond me.
 
Most of the players we’re trying to shop have been on big money playing reserve grade. No one is going to take players who can’t get a run for the team who finished last.

May is a starting front rower in a top 4 team.

in that case they need to just cut a few anyway …and pay then out if need be …it can’t be a great situation having people hanging around the team every day who you have identified are not a cultural fit and are seemingly never going to be playing in the NRL team anyway …what difference would it make cutting them now or having them turn up to do nothing?

I appreciate you aren’t going to cut Bud…. I would keep him another year anyway at least … but Naden ? Ship him out and use the roster spot on someone else
 
He completed 2 seasons and retired 3 games into his third season on specialist advice. In his three seasons with the Sharks he played 17, 13 and 3 games per season. He played 17 games in his last season with the Storm.

Dale Finucane is officially leaving the Storm, signing a big-money four-year deal with the Sharks.

The news was made official on Sunday, with the State of Origin forward set to join the Sharks next season on a deal worth $2.6 million.
If your unable to see what he has done for that club I’m not going to try and explain it to you.
