So according to Michael C on Vossy’s show this morning Manly are still interested in Bateman just need to free up a spot and Dragons are still a possibility for Doueihi. Wouldn’t mind it it for Hetherington, May and Pole.

There’s no spot for Bula at the Storm apart for depth. Faalogo at 1 with Coates and Warbrick on the wing and Howarth and Meaney at centre he’s only gonna be depth at the Storm. There’s more chance of NAS for Pole though if there’s a swap between Storm and Tigers that’s the only one I see happening. But I don’t think it’ll happen regardless.

I disagree, I think a team like Melbourne Storm would take Jahream Bula in a heartbeat ahead of Faalogo.
I know it’s purely soeculation, but with Pole and Bula being very good mates, I would not put it past the Storm putting this offer forward as they plan for the future.

Storm make sure players they want to have are locked down long term. Faalogo is signed until 2028, I don’t think Paps stays unless Storm make a better offer, but Faalogo would be the one taking his spot not Bula. You’re hoping Storm are willing to take Bula as you’ve made it clear you don’t rate Bula numerous times. If Bula does eventually leave unless a stronger Sydney side wants him, he’ll probably end up back in QLD in a couple years.

Faalogo is far superior to Bula. And he's also Fonua's best mate, sign him and Pole stays. One of Papenhuyzen and Faalogo will be leaving shortly

We didn't announce Faagutu as a departing player last night. Whatever the club is doing this is amateur. Very amateur.

Unless we announce signings of elite young props to replace them then there's no method to this madness.

Very shocking regarding Fa’agutu. Been a big advocate of his from the games I’ve seen him play this year. Always ran hard and was an aggressive defender in the middle for us. Hope this one doesn’t come back and bite us and hope he does get picked up by another club cos he was a special talent

It can be near certain that Saukuru, Tumeth, Sukkar and Kit Laulilli would all be on the bare minimum contracts
While none of these young players have showed much to contribute to our NRL team at this stage and I do agree they should all be on Development Contracts, they are also not the ones hurting our Salary Cap, they have all come through our junior development systems and it will not hurt us to give them all another season to see how they develop.
The ones that are hurting us are the ones on big money that we have no interest in playing in our NRL team such as Bateman, Sullivan and Naden.
I’ve previously made my stance known on Sullivan and Naden and I think it’s very wrong how they have been treated, but it’s now gone too far and surely they must be starting to think it’s better for their careers to head elsewhere, rather than stay at a club that doesn’t want them.

two of their international forwards getting caught with white powder and stood down

Two internationals hooker/five eight being seen in a room with white powder

Culture is a good thing, but ability seems to generally outweigh it, unless it provides the club with some benefit (say addo Carr - expensive winger at the end of his career - can be replaced)
