As much as Ice cops it on here I reckon we're gonna miss him next season. Should have just played him in the middle. Yes he was unsure that he really wanted to come to the tigers, but you can't say he dogged it.

I hope he is choosing the fried food option. Me thinks Bateman selects the salad with the Hard LiquorView attachment 17394
Can we open a roster spot off this?
Poised?Bulldogs poised to sign Ben Hunt means we’re a better chance for Terrell May
super talented in terms of his technical skill but his lack of mongrel on both sides of the ball counts against him.Have you totally drawn a line through Matamua jr? Keeping in mind he is only 21 and I know we need someone for the now but I thought he showed glimpses last year. We didn't have the luxury of a ball playing lock considering how consistently we were getting rolled in attack and defence. Needs to add more tenacity aggression in his running game and tackling but I think he can be a useful player IF we nab 1 or 2 more decent props and our outside backs yardage game is as promised.
You've watched way more of him through the juniors and for the magpies than me, is he a lost cause?
Ben Hunt wants to stay in Sydney & Toby Sexton has asked for an urgent meeting with the Bulldogs to discuss his futurePoised?
Poised?
Yep completely agree, starting edge backrow a big gap atm.As it stands now yes, but right side secondrow with no Bateman is still an issue, not sure Seyfarth is the long term option there, but I am hopeful he keeps improving
Can Richo ring RA and ask if there’s any other players off contract that wanna come to NRL
Stop writing so many correct posts before I get the chance to say exactly the same thing.
this is great news for WT. if Canterbury chase Hunt then it reduces their ability to outbid us for May.
furthermore, with Hunt out of the equation for Brisbane it could mean Madge opts for his old mate Adam Doueihi, and we could swap him for Kobe.
Yes unfortunately I feel that is the case as well.Hahahaha do you know who Phil Gould is ? They can absolutely afford Hunt & May
What if they’re going for Papenhuyzen tooHahahaha do you know who Phil Gould is ? They can absolutely afford Hunt & May
That’s for 2026. Plenty of time for him to cull off more high earners and convince a couple to quit league for boxingWhat if they’re going for Papenhuyzen too
Bulldogs will have money for both
