Really hope there is a big turn around and we are sitting at 3-3 or 2-4 i truly do hope there is a massive swift upward both on and off the field for this club. What exactly will you know when we are 2-4 or 3-3 and combinations are still forming?
We were 2-4 in 2024. What happens after rd 6 will be more important, when Luai starts to form in-game combinations with teammates.Really hope there is a big turn around and we are sitting at 3-3 or 2-4 i truly do hope there is a massive swift upward both on and off the field for this club.
No but still what has he done on the recruitment side , other club are signing players left and right but the wooden spooner , just sit back and don’t improveWhat has he done in the last couple of months?
- As you said, signed Bird and Hunt.
- Opened up 2 roster spots through the sacking of Miller and the payout of Fa'agutu.
- Entered talks with both Hetherington and May. The former of which was ultimately denied a release (so far) by his current club and the latter being yet to make a decision.
- Given 5 players official warnings regarding pre-season return fitness, therefore establishing baseline standards that seem above what we've seen in the past.
- Continued discussions around moving on further players considered surplus to requirements including Sullivan, who has been confirmed as being rejected by Saints for a homecoming and Bateman to Manly, which sounds like it's still to play out.
Should I go on?
It's not just that.He gets bagged because we couldn't defend to save ourselves
KNowing Madge, Doueihi is on his radar.Mam - 12 weeks.
Hey Madge, wanna swap Hetherington for Sullivan or Doueihi for the season?
Some are upset we even mention it 🙄cant believe some people are upset we want out players to be fit
So your argument is, basically:No but still what has he done on the recruitment side , other club are signing players left and right but the wooden spooner , just sit back and don’t improve
Dont think this forum could ever totally agree on something- anythingSo your argument is, basically:
'Look, apart from Jerome Luai and Sunia Turuva and Jack Bird and Royce Hunt and Jeral Skelton and going after Kobe Hetherington and Terrell May and already clearing two roster spots still being in talks to clear further roster spots.....what has Richardson done?!'
Nothing mate. He's done absolutely nothing. We should sack him.
That is just speculation on what the NRL may hand down at this stage, as per Fox Sports.Mam - 12 weeks.

Attitude of the positive variety.More to this, maintaining or even improving fitness, strength in the off season speaks to a players motivations. Players who can generate that intrinsic motivation to improve without having to be directly supervised or have extrinsic threats or rewards hanging over their heads are far more likely to succeed. Its all about the process, rather than outcomes
Is it all results though?I'd be happy with 2-4. Its better than our usual 0-6...
Thats just silly hyperbole. Where’s the context and nuance?Everything?
We should hire 30 marathon runners then.
'What absurd logic'.
We were running out a team half full of kids who had never played first grade. No big surprise really. It's not just that.
If our defense sucked, but our attack was on target. Then I would say he is doing something.
We scored 463 points. The worst in the league.
While Olam had some injuries.. Really our injuries were not too bad.
Then yes, our defense SUCKED!
What we have seen is Craig F and Ciraldo improve the Sharks and Dogs defense immensily.
We will see Jason Ryles do the same at Parra.
Benji has failed to impart skills that will build this team.
Sorry champion @twentyforty but your choice of word "hyperbole" always takes me here:Thats just silly hyperbole. Where’s the context and nuance?
😂
Geeze Penrith can spot a good player. I got the impression he was reluctant after we sacked the kiwi coach. He’s an Oceanic games athlete. His mother played footy in NZ side. Takes his performance seriously.Reckon Papalii just wanted to go and the club didn't have much choice but to let him, he was wishy washy about coming here in the first place and we didn't cover ourselves in glory once he was here either. Neither party handled it well, best for both to cut losses and move on (wish Bateman would do the same)

Should be fine they have lost 3 or 4 players so that’s 5 million to spendThings seem to be warming up nicely on the Ben Hunt front with shock horror the Roosters allegedly wanting to sign him.
