I am a seyfarth cult member for sure.I'm with you on this one Canadian Club. He's seems to have a cult following on here for reasons I'm not sure.
Great attitude, never gives up, fit and is coming into his best years.
I frigging love him....

Would absolutely take Tupouniua over Seyfarth. Tupouniua had his first full year back from a major injury last season and he spent time playing at centre, second row and middle. That’s why his numbers are down (he was also starting pre-injury).I prefer sticking with Seyfarth as he has better stats when compared to Tupouniua
My thoughts on Seyfarth is that his whole career he has been stuffed around and never had an extended run in top grade at just 1 position, he runs a great line he can offload and tackles at a good rate.
He brings a lot of fire, aggression and passion to our team and although that sometimes turns into errors and penalties those are things that can be taken out of his game if he can have some more consistency
Statistically, he was one of the worst (top 3) in the completion for penalties conceded (penalties to minutes played).I thought I saw his discipline improve, there were times he was making a concerted effort to put his hands up and pull away where previously he would do something dumb that would attract the attention of the ref.
It was as if he was making an exaggerated attempt to show the referee that he was not interfering with the player or doing anything that he should not of been doing because it was starting to look like he was getting a bit of a reputation with the referees.
As others have said, just let him concentrate on that right side second row role if we don't or can't attract anyone better in the mean time.
I think he has something to offer if given the chance and if we choose to persevere with him.
Look I agree he needs to improve his discipline but also sometimes the guys who are making the most effort for the team give away penalties because they are saving a try or a line break and I'd rather give away a penalty then a try. The problem with our side was they were also getting into positions too often where a penalty almost needed to be given away as it was our only chance.Statistically, he was one of the worst (top 3) in the completion for penalties conceded (penalties to minutes played).
He also has a terrible habit of giving penalties away at the worst time when the game is on the line.
Just still needs to learn to control his aggression.I am a seyfarth cult member for sure.

We can agree to disagree.??? Most players came through grade playing completely different positions to the ones they ended up playing in first grade . As for Benji even he adapted from the spark plug , the game revolves around whenever you want to do your thing , to the game managing half and tactician he retired as .
I think that’s a really obtuse outlook mate .
Thats the issue though, he gives away penalties with his poor discipline and lets in tries with his poor defense and poor decision making in defense. It's a double whammy with Seyfarth.Look I agree he needs to improve his discipline but also sometimes the guys who are making the most effort for the team give away penalties because they are saving a try or a line break and I'd rather give away a penalty then a try. The problem with our side was they were also getting into positions too often where a penalty almost needed to be given away as it was our only chance.
Also though he was getting targeted by ref's which is somewhat his fault with his history but also somewhat poor officiating. Still he needs ti pull his head in but he does a lot right as well
Not To much, I like a player who cares.Just still needs to learn to control his aggression.
Agree totally, just not when the ref is watchingNot To much, I like a player who cares.
Meh - how bout John morrisWe can agree to disagree.
Meh it's Football, heck it's not even soccer. We don't even need a punchup over this ///
All I am saying is that Parra seem to have picked a bunch of Props to coach their entire side. Other then Cayless who is an experienced coach*, most seem to have just played Prop/Second row. That means you will get a very gritty side that I suspect will lack positioning, ball skills and technique in the backs.
That's all. It's Parra, I am sure you will be hating on them as much as I.
Parra's only redeeming quality is that when it's us vs them they get the Boof on. I respect that.
Yea, I don't think that having your coaching staff made up of almost all props does your halves or backs any favours. Sure anyone can do the basics, but what say Josh Addo Carr knows about being a wing is a lot more then Bryce Gibbs knows. The coaching staff won't be able to tune and improve the game of the backs.... But seriously I do not care that much!
The Tigers have the balance a little better this season. Could use some Beefcake... Hodgson (FB), Heighington (2rf), Josh Morris (5/8 - Center) GI and Marshall. That said the proof is on the field.
*He did nothing here. Which I was really dissapointed in.
I've noticed the tigers have a digital membership which includes KayoAny real gossip? For me, excited that the trials start this weekend. We field a team in less than two weeks for our first trial. Time to renew Kayo and footy is near! 🥳🎉
I would upgrade him if the opportunity arose, but with the right guys inside him he can handle an edge. He will need to work on his defence, but if he has locked down and edge role this will simplify it for him and he can certainly lean on Bird for advice and support (or play Bird on his edge in defence and have him plugging the middle).I like seyfarth. But for me he is a bit goofy and I don’t think anyone fears his ‘aggression’ so far - too long for me in 1st grade not to take next step. Get under his grill and he lets a penalty go. He’s like a soft big red Galloway. People feared the big red G. Saeyfarth has a year to channel that and let his play and real channeled mongrel do the talking. Lanky guys like Shaun lane are a numbered species for me and lane is streets ahead of our guy. Still like him nonetheless
He may have been, as you say one of the worst over the season, but do you have stats towards the end of the season that go against my impression that he was working hard on his discipline and that it actually improved.Statistically, he was one of the worst (top 3) in the completion for penalties conceded (penalties to minutes played).
He also has a terrible habit of giving penalties away at the worst time when the game is on the line.
Imagine going to a funeral and Paul Kent greet you.
