Brooks will be a shoein to the CH 9 commentary when he retires with incisive comments like he just produced.Thank you Luke Brooks
We've at least opened our eyes a bit and started making a coffee, time will tell but it feels different.I think we need 2 or 3 years of consistency before we can say we have woken up. Definitely can’t say it cos we’ve had one good off season after 3 spoons.
Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane.providing Klemmer leaves and Justin Olam is medically retired, I do wonder whether Kai Pearce-Paul becomes a genuine option we can pursue for 2026.
given we'll have approx $1.5m to spare for this year we could certainly do some frontloading pending some upgrades and a couple mid-season signings.
Too intelligent for that mob. Just renewed Kayo for the season to avoid a year with the sound on mute.Brooks will be a shoein to the CH 9 commentary when he retires with incisive comments like he just produced.
Oh the delight in seeing the Roman Empire team of the NRL facing some real challengers going forward, to top it off a spoon would really bring them back to earth with a thud to the joy of a lot of us.If by some miracle we pick up Leniu along with May from the rooster's two gun props it would be absolutely fabulous
I just hated reading the other day that the rooster's have lost this year millions in players this season
Far as I know there cap is not millions under other clubs
Also like to mention a Big Welcome to Coaching to Mr Trent Robinson
Agreed. I think it felt a bit hopeful in the past - relying on hope rather than reality. This time it feels like there are foundations for ongoing success. We've at least opened our eyes a bit and started making a coffee, time will tell but it feels different.
Twal is one dimensional like Klemmer, but he's half the price, makes 100m a game and tackles at 97% efficiency. The best in the game most years.
We need Twal in the 30. Stupid not to
Considering our junior catchment is on par with the size of Penriths and Richos arrival plus a good board been settled and we finally have some good players on hand the team will be topped up slowly with some real gems from the juniors, then we should finally get to where we all want to be.We are a sleeping giant and I think we've finally woken up. With one of the largest catchments in rugby league we should be up the top with Penrith, hopefully that's what's to come
I was only using the term as a way of describing him, As you stated I’m pretty sure that it is not a real policy. What no dickhead policy? Do you know I have heard people for years talk about the club having a no dickhead policy. I’ve only ever heard it on this forum. It’s never been stated by the club once. I suppose it doesn’t have to be stated publicly as it’s pretty much assumed that every club has that policy by default. The only club that has ever used that term publicly is the Sydney Swans.
On May though, I consider him a dead shit regardless if he’s found guilty or not. Filming yourself going 80 or 90km’s through a school zone makes you a total wanker in my book.
Surely Tommy Talau is the one to miss out when they are full strength. With Manly having so many outside backs at the moment I hoping Manly don’t pick Tolu Koula in there starting 13 each week and maybe his management starts looking for somewhere else for him to make a starting side.
If so he would improve our backline speed immensely and fill a centre position in our squad easily. Also cover for fullback.
Again only thinking of options with players not getting starting time with their clubs and wishful thinking.

Anyway I hope I don’t see him in one of our jumpers.
Is it fair to say Taylan probably doesn't know you either?I don’t know Taylan, but a judge was scathing of him in a finding for an earlier assault, allegations of domestic abuse and current further charges that include stalking, and the video mentioned above.
Such choices are huge indicators of his poor decision making, including filling the front of his neck with a tattoo of his surname. It would take a lot of favourable stuff to even go close to balancing the ledger when appraising him.

I think that's his point.Almost certain I've read pretty much the exact same thing from anyone in the game who's commented on us buying Luai since it happened - What makes the comments so special today?
