Very good player and any club would be lucky to have him, but just can’t see him leaving.
I think our club is banking on at least one of our own emerging big bodied back rowers in Sukkar, Broederlow or Taotua making the steps required to become genuine NRL quality players within the next 6-12 months, obviously Sukkar gets a chance to prove his worth tonight.
All 3 have the size and athleticism required, but all 3 have also demonstrated they can be lazy and suspect defenders.
As I’ve said before, defending is more of an attitude and mindset than anything else, so if they want to become regular NRL players bad enough, they will knuckle down and prioritise getting their defence in order.
