Everyone its best that you read the report that Lachie is leaving the club because he believes the club is going in the wrong direction because of the coaching staff and that he cant improve under Benji .. with a lot of salt .. !!! A real lot of salt .. !! This is purely a stunt by his manager Isaac "the mongrel dog" Moses .. lets go back many years to when the Tigers were considered to have the best young players in the game .. Woods, Moses, Teddy and Brooks .. it was Isaac Moses who was their manager who tried to rip the Tigers apart by telling them they would be better off going to another club to have a chance in winning a premiership .. how did that work for Moses and Woods .. ?? Only Teddy went on to win a premiership with the Rorters.

I'll go out and say that had those players stayed with us .. we had a strong chance of winning a premiership as they developed .. !! Isaac Moses is hell bent on make money out of the players .. that destroying our club for the sake of it doesnt matter to him .. !! Isaac Moses should be deregistered by the NRL as he doesnt promoted the clubs .. he destroys them. Even the Rorter refuse to deal with Moses as a manager when it comes to his contracted players.

If it wasnt for the Tigers and Benji .. Galvin would still be playing SG Ball or what ever it is called for he's age division. not too many other clubs would give a tall skinny kid a shot at 1st grade. We would still have Ontonio Large at the club if he had know that Galvin was going to leave .. !! We have the rest of this year and the next season with Galvin still at the club .. BUT dont be surprised if Galvin / Moses pull a Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon card out of their sleeve .. and say that Lachie's mental health is a worry if he stays at the club .. so they request for an early release .. !!

The worst part (and prob on purpose by Galvin camp) is saying the reason is coaching. This automatically creates tension among the paying group which we’ve already seen (Pole on Insta, Jarome just put a post of of most the boys excluding Galvin)

This makes it untenable moving forward. No doubt that’s the game plan to get an early release.

The contract system in the nrl is an absolute joke.

I live in Vic and although I don’t like AFL, they are run 1000 times better than NRL who look like a squabble when it comes to this stuff.

Perfect opportunity with Lachys age to make a player see out his contract in the lower grades and use him on need base only, and force a player manager to suffer the consequences on the back of attempted manipulation. And any clubs that have been meeting him for coffee catch ups can continue to do so till November 1 and beyond if need be.

Ontini Large was another one the club was forced to put up with demanding parents.

Under the new professional front office and Benji who is strong with the media I hope they just take a professional approach. Play him as needed with a results focus. We are in a strong spot with his current deal not a financial millstone on us. It is in our favour in terms of value.

We have a great alternative in Latu so it’s not a full rebuild derailer and we have plenty of time now to line up a replacement or continue to develop Latu. Another strong position we are in is we could consider a swap that works for us. We have the ability to sit as long as we want and only entertain a deal that really works for us to target a quality player in return. Trade him back for Onitoni??

Still can’t see how him going to market works, though. He’s turned down probably close to $1M over this year and next with the upgrade that would’ve happened if he’d signed the long term deal. Wonder whether Isaac Moses has just had his bluff called and stuffed this one up for Lachy? Either way, I think it’s another marker of how far WT has come in terms of not getting walked over in player deals.

I’d say he would do that. But these poly boys won’t be buying it for a second and I don’t blame em. They will have Benjis back.

Hope the boys don’t cop it either. Benji in the eyes of most of these guys is an idol. He’s been exactly where Galvin has been and been through the wringer through clubs and never played up off field. The bloke is would be loved by these young poly boys.

This could be something that unites the team if played right. Hope we speak to the nrl directly about him and our options of dropping him etc

I'm all for dropping him and keeping him in reserves unless we get something that seriously benefits us.

E.g. if a team wants an early release, they agree to give us a player or also agree to take on the rest of Sullivan's contract from next year onwards.

The other really left of field suggestion (admittedly 0.01% chance) is if Galvin is going to Manly, why not offer an early release this year in exchange for Cherry-Evans and make DCE a strong offer for next season too. If DCE is disgruntled enough maybe he agitates an early exit too... who knows? We could realistically be a contender with DCE this year...
