Injuries , and I know this one is a broken thumb but he has had issues and I’m not sure if he is the type to be super fit to protect himself from injuries , I just not sure just the old gut feeling so could be way off , if I was doing the buying and it come up I take it , Sam is a good player the other is just s first grader , Replaceable

Onitoni requesting a release clause if Galvin re-signed and Richo shot it down and punted him immediately.
That clause request was 100% reasonable and is not even in the same category as these other clauses/options that players like Brown and Luai had/have in their contracts.
Melbourne have given them to Faalogo and Pezet in case of Hughes and Paps re-signing. Good enough for Melbourne but not for us?
He needs to stop being so emotional when making big decisions.
Could be a costly mistake by Richo if Latu doesn’t kick on and Large becomes a star.

So Richo sacked large? Seems a bit extreme.
They have reported Sexton will re-sign for 2 more years at the Bulldogs for 1 million (500k per season).
For a player of his standard that sounds way too cheap doesn’t it ?
No he didn't sack him, he released him for another contract.

Punted/released/sacked.. he had two years left on his contract I believe.
He was let go for no reason and we received nothing in return. Absolutely insane business.
I think it’s insane that a 17 year old is throwing demands on to the club. How about you knuckle down , work hard and earn your position in the team. These kids are a bunch of entitled brats.
Apologies for pointing out the blindly obvious - Pezet and Fa'alogo have shown a bit more in NRL than Large has at junior level.
In a real world scenario, are you going to sit in a job or take a new job if there is multiple people in the same role and you are unlikely to progress if they stay long term because they’re ahead of you?
I agree that we shouldn’t bend over to requests from unproven talent but I can completely understand where this one is coming from and it was absolutely a reasonable request by his management.
Now Galvin's gone and we’ve got neither. That’s insane.
Pride could’ve been swallowed to give the club a safety net.
