Appreciate your perspective because I have no idea about jnr ranks. Do transfer fees and player swaps occur at jnr levels?

Depends if you want to be part of the organization long term. Multiple people for the same job creates competition which is what you want as an NRL club.

What happened to backing yourself. He is 17 he won’t be playing first grade for another 3 years.

Well it seems like they are happy to at this stage.
Pezet had that clause in his contract when he last came off contract and still resigned.
 
Apparently Sexylegs hasn’t beeen or isn’t on the cusp with resigning with the Dogs.
They mentioned on 360 they might be holding off for a premier/premiership winning half.
Well Chat Townsend will be available if they want to pluck him from reserve grade but no on a serious note I wonder if Adam Reynolds might be a target for them?
There has been absolutely no noise about Adam Reynolds future other than Brisbane might have to undercut him if he plays on.

Did Manly put them in for him for the guy he's sitting behind there?
 
One thing I really respect of the club is that Richo has always said that members will here it from him first and the statement on Galvin rejecting the deal he lived up to that and came out to the members first.

People might not like that but you have to respect the honesty and up front nature.
