English forward to depart, set to sign with NRL outfit
He is free to join a new club in 2026.
Seems he is going to the Warriors. I wonder if we made an offer. It is definitely the most priority position we have.

That's right, the big money clubs will dominate more than they currently do.Lets face it- a few strong clubs and the rest cannon fodder to be used and abused.
Interesting section in the article from Alex McKinnon today:
“Trent Robinson told me one day, and I will never forget it, your whole attacking structure is dependent on your back rowers.”
Given it’s one of our weaker areas wondering how some upgrades in these positions would see us kick up our progress another level?
And we don't have a big list of aboriginal players likely to be with us next season (Naden, Mason, any others) who he could connect with. Well Inglis is on coaching staff could be a mentor type.I was just thinking this last night watching the game...qld country aboriginal ca nt see him adopting to sydney... might be wrong
Had some concussion issues apparently![]()

I think GI is just a personal mentor to Bula, not on coaching staffAnd we don't have a big list of aboriginal players likely to be with us next season (Naden, Mason, any others) who he could connect with. Well Inglis is on coaching staff could be a mentor type.
This comes down to coaching and Hodgson as attacking coach. I loved how the Donkeys used their backrowers in the 1st half last night in the red zone, Willison & Piakura. We need to use Sam Fainu & Seyfarth more than we do if we are be a red zone threat.100%. Your whole backline sweep (which is pretty much the most used play in the NRL), is dependent on the quality of lines your backrowers run. Respectfully, Fainu and Seyfarth run very soft/slow lines that don't threaten or take defenders away. Look at the best clubs, and look at the quality of those lines. Even look at the quality and pace of Tuilagis line last week for his try. Compare that to the lines our 2RF ran in the final 10 mins when we were in their 20m when we needed a try and its worlds apart.
NRLW asst coach for us as well this seasonI think GI is just a personal mentor to Bula, not on coaching staff
God forbid if he ever tackles Latu Fainu, they might explode like matter and anti-matterThey just signed Finau Latu , 3 year deal
They have no choice if nobody else will take him!I read yesterday that Matterson will be with the Eels in 2026.
You watch too much Sci Fy like me mate, all started with Star Trek The Next Generation lol.God forbid if he ever tackles Latu Fainu, they might explode like matter and anti-matter
When was the last time attacking the line we seen our second rowers on an angle run against the grain like Nikora does. This comes down to coaching and Hodgson as attacking coach. Unfortunately the expansion has nothing to do with the short-term talent pool. It will be a strain for several years.I am so confused about nrls rapid expansion plan. with such a shallow talent pool, The product quality is going to be so poor that it will attract very few new followers. Obviously that just my opinion
Anti-matter isn't fiction however, it's a real thingYou watch too much Sci Fy like me mate, all started with Star Trek The Next Generation lol.
Not saying I have an inside word or anything, and maybe this has already come out, but I have heard that we are about to announce a few new signings in the next week or so, one of which has all happened quickly off the back of the Galvin saga. My money is on KPP to be coming here for 2026. Will be interesting to hear who the other/s are.
Yes but it will be centuries before we can create technology to safely use it.Anti-matter isn't fiction however, it's a real thing
Heck, I'd add 1 more team - make it 20 teams- and then 2 x 10 division groups- admit the quality overall will be a bit less but- the NRL has to take control of the juniors system and expand it into new areas and expect in years to come, a greater flow of reasonable State Cup / NRL capable players. Juniors Expansion- well already PNG & Perth will have some local set up- maybe a 2nd NZ team, an oceania team representing Fiji, Tonga & Samoa, and develop linkages with English junior league comps. Sure we can pick the teeth out of Union but not too many winners come through, but when theyre good, theyre really good. Also as we know Union can raid us too. We need to develop and grow internally. That's right, the big money clubs will dominate more than they currently do.
MAYBE THEY SHOULD HAVE A TOP 9 & BOTTOM 9
SEMI FINAL SERIES,
OR A PLATE EVENT.
