What's so funny about someone having life changing surgery?
Well he had the eye surgery, maybe he can see his flippers now

St Pats??Went to the same High School as Douhei went to…in Strathfield ….another player we should’ve recruited, but let slip through
We don’t need more depth for the sake of depth. We need to be filling the gaps at the top which will then create the depth. He is an excellent backup winger. He will be dirt cheap and fill a hole for us.
These are the exact signings we need - depth. Those are the only blokes we will sign for the rest of this year
Big signings will come next year
Marky mark is the best I can doI have to be perfectly honest I looked him up on the web and did a copy and paste with his name.
I can't even pronounce it let alone spell it. 🤣
Thankyou Cb it should be everyone's mission when put on this earth to entertain. This made me laugh 🤣
Capewell is a journeyman but I wonder if he gets on the nerves of his teammates as he moves on quite frequently or he just literally goes to the highest bidderThe Warriors have apparently recently signed Morgan Gannon for 2026 and beyond.
He is an up and coming young, mobile and aggressive edge back rower in the Matty Nicholson mould.
The Warriors don’t even need more edge back rowers, how do we keep missing out on these opportunities?
I’d like to bet The Warriors will not be wanting to offload any of their own young up and coming back rowers, so it might mean an early release is in the cards for Kurt Capewell ?
I know it’s not ideal looking at or potentially signing forwards on the wrong side of 30, but Kurt Capewell has always kept himself looking very fit and he still looks to be quicker than most other NRL edge back rowers.
If he become available I think he would be a good fit for season 2026 and 2027 while we wait for someone else to develop internally.
You need to do both - we have our starting wingers for the long term locked in. Problem is when we have two backline injuries, we have Faatape on the wing.We don’t need more depth for the sake of depth. We need to be filling the gaps at the top which will then create the depth.
2nd rower and lock priority.
AJ isn’t any better than Staines or Faataape in my opinion. If he is back I hope it’s a state cup contract.
Probably a wise move.Marky mark is the best I can do
Manly had a similar question before. They had Trent Hodkinson who was carving it up...what do we do then if Haywood gets to TD's level and we lose him?
are we then going to keep trying to bring younger guys up only to lose them?
there has to come a point where you keep TD's , in this instance, and build around him
and the other youngsters in the team now.
Answer:To paraphrase that advertisement: Why not keep both?
Yep wouldn’t surprise me is we need a fullback soon. The Large boy might’ve have been handy to have, but apparently wanted 6?Manly had a similar question before. They had Trent Hodkinson who was carving it up...
They realised they had someone better in lower grades, DCE.
TDS needs to push Api out if he wants to stay. Can't remember who, but it was summarised that TDS is more like Michael Ennis then a Damien Cook. Haywood seems a better development prospect and would happily pair him with Api...
The key:
We choose who we want.
We get rid of Grubs, and grubby managers. I suspect we have lost Bula due to us pushing Issac Moses back in the club... So we start again... NO GRUBS.
We get people who want to play here and who like playing here. It's a priviledge to wear our jersey, we carry 200 years of NRL experience and toil as the WT.
Tiger pride.
He’s better in the sense that , he’s had higher rep honours than TDS at the same age . From watching him , he seems really shift around dummy half .Answer:
Because we have Hayworth, who some are saying is a better prospect then TDS...
But, hey I am up for it. If TDS wants to play here and a faster style out of Dummy half seems to suit us...
Then we make it work, but we make it clear, our NR1 is Api.
We are no flight deck. Nor a charity house. We will do what's right by Api and he will and has done right by us.
12 month loan?if true it’s going to polarise the fanbase, but AJ is effectively what Skelton was in Cup last year. devastating yardage winger that is ready for more but stuck behind others on the depth chart.
always thought we wrongly pushed him inwards as a backrower as opposed to moving him to the sting and working on his flipper hands with time in reggies. Penrith have done that and we may well be the ones to benefit with what is effectively a 12 month loan.
Yeah I think he'll surprise people. When I've seen him play recently he had really improved. He's better depth than our other wingers. Luke isn't ready and Faatape is a centre, not a winger.Asu leads all of NSW Cup in Tries, Line Breaks, Post Contact Metres & Running Metres (458m more than any other player)
sorry mate was taking the mick. he left nearly 12 months ago, so if he were to have come back then we basically just gave him to Penrith to develop and then come back.12 month loan?
Best case scenario he doesn't... but he's miles better than Faatape on the wing if it comes down to it.
I vote sending over a few more for 12 months. If they can pull Kepoa's head in and convince him he is a yardage winger, I'd like to see what they can do with Mason, Feledy and Kit in 12 months.sorry mate was taking the mick. he left nearly 12 months ago, so if he were to have come back then we basically just gave him to Penrith to develop and then come back.
