I think you're onto somethingCould play this weekend off the bench. Wests have only named 3 interchange players. I think they'll want him NRL-ready ASAP.

Makasini as well next year..we cld finally be ok for centresCobbo isn't built for Sydney. Would be homesick in a jiffy. Surplus to requirement as well - Toa and May appear a solid duo to invest in for the future (from a talent perspective).
The tigers can drop him whenever they want from a T&T..If he was going to come straight in, he’d be signed top 30. Not T&T.
All these off contract Brisbane players have a weird Perth or PNG smell about themCobbo isn't built for Sydney. Would be homesick in a jiffy. Surplus to requirement as well - Toa and May appear a solid duo to invest in for the future (from a talent perspective).
13 months since he played NRL, though I agree with the rest apart from potential clauses. The tigers can drop him whenever they want from a T&T..
They can't do this with a Top 30 contract.
Given what Taylan is dealing with its a smart way to structure it to give the club flexibility to drop him should things go south..
I am sure they want him to be playing first grade... And as soon as he is ready to do so.. but he's been out of the game for 2+ years
100 percentIs there a place for Twal in our best 17 in 2026 if we were to snag a ball playing lock?
don’t understand why ppl don’t see twals value, he’s the only defensive workhorse in the team , cleans up a lot for us in the middle which helps api immensely .Is there a place for Twal in our best 17 in 2026 if we were to snag a ball playing lock?
Can't be helping that much - Api is still missing plenty.don’t understand why ppl don’t see twals value, he’s the only defensive workhorse in the team , cleans up a lot for us in the middle which helps api immensely .
Royce would be the one to drop out I'd say.Is there a place for Twal in our best 17 in 2026 if we were to snag a ball playing lock?

Compare him with the other 13's in the game
- He just doesn't cover enough Ground or offer anything outside this assumed defence.
I wouldn't have both of these... Its either one or the other...Royce would be the one to drop out I'd say.
I'm not saying I necessarily want Hetherington, but I do think the writing might be on the wall. wouldn't mind someone to fill out jersey 17 that can play across the pack as well, but hypothetically...
8. May
9. Koroisau
10. Pole
11. Fainu
12. Pearce-Paul
13. Hetherington*
14. Mason / Da Silva
15. Fainu
16. Twal
17. Seyfarth / Sukkar / ?
exactly , benji always says he’s the underrated one in the pack that does a lot of the clean up for us , sorry to disappoint but he ain’t going anywhere 😂We just need him to do a job... Take dirty hit ups and make tackles.. we have samuela and KPP for the fancy shit.

sorry mate should've been clearer. that's Sione Fainu in the 15. currently I'd have Latu at 6.I wouldn't have both of these... Its either one or the other...
And a big NO to Hetherington...
You could also put twal into the prop rotation .. I think it suits him better
Oh sorry I thought you meant LatuI'd prefer someone in the middle that hits and hurts in defence or dints the defensive line with the ball...
The way the 3rd Fainu has been going, He might find himself less a favourite.
After the Galvin saga, if TDS doesn't see the value working behind API then I'm happy for him to leave. The Api/TDS situation is a real tricky one, as stated before I believe we need to resign Api. Api is a proven SOO/International rep and premiership winner, TDS has shown glimpses but is still a way off being at Api's level. It may cost us TDS but I feel Api will give us three more years of quality dummy half work and keeps team spirit high. TDS could piss off after signing for three years and then we lost Api to another club and screwed the team culture. In a perfect world TDS would be content to play off the bench for awhile but I can't see it happening, in which case you prepare Haywood who seems to have good wraps.
