Your making good sense mate, I just listened to Richo's BTR post he made no mention of the 30 needed by June 30 so you think this would point to being not a problem with 27 at the moment.

Bit of a letdown really was hoping for some more quality recruits it's only going to be harder to find them from the end of this season with the new teams coming in.

You were ragging on someone the other day wanting the galvin thread closed...im sure they said it was their opinion too.

You dont determine what someones opinion is and.imo having a go at them for expressing their opinion is more wasted energy than anything

Where did I say he couldn’t have an opinion? I just said death riding was wasted energy. If you can quote me where I chastised him for death riding, then you might have a point.

If you can move on Bud without eating most of his salary than sure … I don’t think that is likely to happen though so may as well stick with him and hope he isn’t required very offen

Kobe may not be suited to Madge's style of play. He has been running a lot of decoys and one of the highest in the NRL for players-in-support so hasn't been getting the ball as a middle much in the Hass / Carrigan system.

He is an all-effort player in defence and probably best as an effort & energy player in attack after 20 mins like last year when he made the PMXIII.

What I’m hearing is what Twal already offers. Solid in defence and not much in ball playing. Pass on Hetherington. Also, never trust a man in this day and age that wears black boots. Shows no confidence. Shows patheticness. Shows loserness.

Api, TDS, Toa, Skelton & Bula. And what Taylan does in performance & behaviour over the next 2-3 months.

For example, if a To'a & Skelton decide to sign with Perth Bears then someone like Cobbo becomes higher in priority.

Another current top 17 player Sione Fainu also comes off contract for 2027, so I think all of the above are priority for Richo to lock away asap so we know what we need moving forward.

Agree, there is some current roster management that needs to be nailed down. I imagine Richo would continue to have an eye for what is out there. Whilst I know both Cobbo and Fafita have their issues if we can get them focussed they both ooze Xfactor and are both in their absolute prime age wise. We would be crazy to not have a crack, just craft the contracts so we have some flexibility, pay them a bit more for it.

I could understand the hype if he’d actually done something great in the game, but in reality he’s done sweet FA at present ! It’s all hype built around potential and its way OTT. Someone must be paying them for there to be this much hype around a player who hasn’t even risen to any great heights yet, maybe daddy?

And yes you’re right, what does Ethan Strange have to do to get this much publicity and hype. The kid is a genuine gun and they say squat about him! It makes no sense whatsoever, unless there is some sort of agenda or payoff with Galvin.

I don’t want to wish Galvin any ill will, but sometimes I think I wouldn’t mind it if he turns out to be a fizzer in the NRL just to shut these dick heads up for once!

Wants to stay there under Bennett..doesnt wanna come back
But we dont intend to fund his personal preferences for another 2 years

I kinda regard that phrase as a chastisement.

"You're Flogging a dead horse" I mean your attacking the action, but your also saying to the person your wasting your time.

If someone is deathriding, your probably chastising them.. Which is WAY too bigger a word here. I mean what the hell are we english teachers or something.

"Mate, Quit it!" does the trick Jimmy Bob. Or goa "Leave that dead Sheep alone, it's no longer fun" Works for Benji and our cussi Bro's across the tasman (or the other sea thing, I don't frigging know!)

It's a damn Footy forum. Were NRL fans, we should just use sign language, words are far too fancy for us.

It’s a disagreement. It’s like if you made a statement saying Latu Fainu was the future of this club and I replied to you saying no, Mason is. That’s not me saying you have no right to your opinion. I said it was wasted energy, cos I believe it is. But I never said it was wrong to death ride, just for me personally, it’s pointless. It’s a forum, people disagree. Not every disagreement is trying to deprive the other person of a voice.
