Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I don't believe that. Everytime Benji talks about Latu he mentions that he's a freak and the long term half. Same with Luai when ever he has spoken about Latu in the media. Even recent articles after Galvin left jurnos were mentioning that Benji believes he can be the long term 6.

The rumour started because of an opinion Caryannis gave, not because of anything Benji has actually said...

Let’s hope he names him at 7 today then

I know. We've just got to trust Benji's judgement on this.

Latu is not much of a talker on-field yet from what I gather nor does he possess a strong long kicking game (unless he's yet to be given a license to use it).

And with his strength in contact, usually very good tackling technique and quality passing game, Benji may just see a transformational lock in him!
Benji reiterated in the Penrith presser that he's a half

Loves playing on the left edge. Then we can move Samuela to the middle. Solves two issues
That’s my view on how we can improve our team, many disagree and think we need to keep Samuela on an edge.
The way I see it is Samueka woukd be a very good mobile middle forward with a before the line passing game as well as an offload and hard hitting defence.
Very hard to find a middle forward to recruit for a decent t cost that fits that description.

how have you found Sione ? thought he’s been solid this year just quietly

The media rumour is that Benji wants to play him there at 13 ( I have no idea if that’s true or not) ,.. but some people just want to agree with every decision Benji makes ( or supposedly makes )
It was probably a suggestion if reynolds came here...now its blown up to be a storm in a teacup like most things here
Just exxageration & BS...much like this garbage thread

I just like the thought of us actually taking our time with him and TDS. Sit them down and say "Lads, we are going to drip feed you NRL over the next two seasons and build you up slowly. But we're doing that because we see you being the Team's backbone from 2028-2035 and maybe beyond"

I still think a 1-2 punch off the dummy halves is needed. Work around the ruck.

Does the backbone get paid more? And will they be in contention for rep footy? Look at May, he’s worked harder than the solo man and done some very good things but overlooked.

Where have you been hiding Inkman? I see the wiity sarcasm is back, as a number of your previous posts had been very soft and marsh-mellowy! At one stage I thought you had a ghost-writer whilst you were travelling overseas? Welcome back, and I look forward to more venomous posts.
