That's my gut feel too @Demps .I think if this isn't his last season with us. Next year will be...
Watch this space, I guess.
Send them to the upcoming Rugby 360 competition, maybe a year in club rugby in 2026 to get the hang of it.Every year you seem to suggest moving on players like it’s easy as pie… It’s looking like Bud will be moved on again … who else is interested in taking Hunt and Bird off their hands ?
Makasini, fast tracked... ?That's my gut feel too @Demps .
My gut also tells me To'a is too inconsistent defensively & injury prone to be in our premiership winning team. I feel we need a strong running and very good defensive right centre to polish off our team.

Someone of the ilk of a Shibasaki or Kris.
I think those concerned about Hope are right to have their reservations, but I suspect Haywood will creep up on everybody for a bit-part role quicker than people expect. Won't surprise me if they give him a bench game in Cup to finish the year over the next month...I’m a little concerned about hooker next season the way things stand…I can’t say I’m too wrapped in Hope taking up a bench spot…also with limited Top 30 spots still available, I don’t want them to sign someone else …on the other hand , I don’t want Api playing 80 mins every week …don’t see a lot of other options if not Latu to be honest
I think you're on the money, V.I think it’s looking likely we would need to offload Sullivan and also potentially Bird, Hunt and maybe To’a to allow us to add some more NRL quality to our current playing roster,
I don't think that makes any sense if we are going to start Latu at 7. If he plays 14 then yeah sure, but otherwise it's just a disruption to his development.I agree …
Any chance you think that Latu could fill in at 9 to give Api a 20 min rest next year ?
Totally agree, I would definitely keep the halves combination we had against the Bulldogs, luai in my mind had his best game this season in his old spot,Simple question, as of now are we are better team with AD playing in the halves ?
With 1 x Tino added I think we would be top tier.I would play him at 13…
I gotta question too…Do you think we will make the 8 next season ?
I know To'a is not the flavour of the month, but I'm not writing him off as "inconsistent" this year. That's my gut feel too @Demps .

What about with Nathan Cleary? With 1 x Tino added I think we would be top tier.
To'a was probably our 2nd best player over the first half of the year. The knock on him is inconsistency and injuries, unfortunately the 2nd half of the year has done nothing to disprove the knocks.I know To'a is not the flavour of the month, but I'm not writing him off as "inconsistent" this year.
He was our most potent attacking threat and was good defensively before his arm injury and in hindsight I don't think he should have been picked as it impacted his fend in attack and he was timid in defence.
I don't think we'll get a better option without paying overs.

Chastity BeltWests Tigers don't have war chests, more like a Pandora's Box.
Parra centre available and better than toa for sureThat's my gut feel too @Demps .

if there's anyone who's expendable in the backline, it's Skelton, not Starford.Makasini, fast tracked... ?
Still a bit to play out with Starford but I can't see him liking taking Nadens role next year as the "experienced back up".
As @jrtiger said though, the depth is looking light.
Some how we have to improve this and im thinking Tui'tupou & Mapapalangi [shout out @IronFist ] will be handy for this role, just a matter of how we fit them in.
Skelton is still less than 20 games into his career. He’s far from locked in to being an automatic selection.if there's anyone who's expendable in the backline, it's Skelton, not Starford.
Makasini's likely to start on the left wing next year imo.
