Mal Meninga was saying assistants have more contact with players then head coaches.

New head coaches shouldn't be judged until after 6 years.

Similar to a tradie really cannot be judged until 2 years p post apprenticeship completion.

If AOB has more contact with our blokes its a no from me

AOB is probably a decent coach … he took his very mid team to the finals 4 times in six years … but even with this success Knights fans have been saying for years he has to go …

Just been speaking to a player manager who has a player at the Knights. All the Knights players are off O’Brien apparently and they are happy he is leaving. Blake Green is well liked apparently.

When you combine the goss on O’Brien with the fact he is managed by Isaac Moses you could put a line through him at the Tigers hopefully. O’Brien may find it difficult to get a job for a while unless it is with another Isaac Moses “managed” club.

Just watched it, I'm with you on this topic. I don't see that as bad journalism at all. It's not a facetious question. It's not a wind up. We would probably have to, but my opinion only...the Knights is a poison chalice right now. Their cap is hamstrung for years.
