Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

More versatility with Doueihi too.
We only really have 2-3 Versatile players now....

I see this as a good thing. Because we used to have a lot of "not a winger, not a center" Kind of players. Brent Naden typifies this, Daine Laurie (not a fullback, not really a 5/8 but can play sometimes). Compared to say Turuva, May, etc.

AD has learned some versatility, still doesn't want to be Center and that's where we have needed him for ages. Hope he can keep up his current performance because we have seen rocks n diamonds from him.

Jack Bird is probably our most versatile player next to AD. He can cover 2nd row, center, 5/8... But damn the guy has really dropped form.

Otherwise it's Heath Mason.

It's good to have a few Utilities. But I prefer to have few and far between. They mean you can have fewer depth positions as you have the flexibiility. ... Glad though, we have picked people who have owned their positions and kept them. First graders over fringe graders.

thought Shannon Gallant stepped into that role a few months ago. Betsy has been hear for at least 5 years , Got promoted n sacked from both cricket and union because of his theory on resting the elite , not that i saw any of that hear
Betsey has been our GM of Football the past 12-24 months post-Sheens, before that was Pathways.

Betsey Resigns from Wests Tigers

In a stunning development, Wests Tigers Life can exclusively reveal that Matthew Betsey has resigned from his role with the Wests Tigers, effective immediately.

Betsey, who was brought into the Club with a strong reputation in high-performance management and pathways development, has been a central figure in reshaping the Tigers’ football program. His resignation comes as the Club continues to transition under the leadership of CEO Shane Richardson and head coach Benji Marshall.

Betsey was responsible for overseeing player development, pathways, and long-term recruitment structures. During his tenure, the Tigers expanded their junior representative programs and strengthened links with feeder systems across Western Sydney.

So it looks like Radley is staying put due to uncle Nic being all talk when sticking the media boot into other clubs drug isage issues and WT is still looking for a #13.
I’m glad Richo and Benji seem to have identified the holes in our squad so I trust we will see this magical #13 signing and a hard nut front rower signed to give us the grunt we need.
I would’ve taken Radley personally and I doubt there will be anything close to his calibre on the market or “falling out of a tree” moving forward, here’s to hoping.
Happy offseason WT fans here’s to the crazy period where we have not been in a stronger position squad wise for many moons.

No recruitment team and no GM, Richo likes running on fillet.

Hopefully we put some money into the football department soon.

Richo mentioned on the James Graham podcast early in the season he really rates Paul Rowley (Salford coach) in the ESL. Rowley was moving into a GM of Football there next season until the club went broke. I wonder!!!

Remember watching an interview of his a few years ago on Matty Johns where he said he tries not to go out "there" too much, referring to the West.

He's a stuck-up Eastie, won't be coming here
One of the more down to earth blokes you would meet. Definitely an Eastie through & through but far from stuck up

Reporters asking him questions on the way into the clubs awards night, and just reacting like a typical bogan.
Bogan , lol , Trailer trash that wouldn't loose its twang with a silver spoon in their mouth , while snorting caviar off the GMs desk. Wee wee Pierre in your Eiffel Tower . The height making you giddy
