Parra?
Not sure I didn’t see him in his juniors, at rep junior level HM, SG he was a running six played 7 a couple times for Workers in Cup. I see he has the straightness of a 7 but lacks the place kicking and strategist of a general. You don't think latu can become that organising #7? Didn't he play 7 a bit coming through the grades?
That will all develop with time though for now we also will have Doueihi at 13 to helpNot sure I didn’t see him in his juniors, at rep junior level HM, SG he was a running six played 7 a couple times for Workers in Cup. Burtons boot has kept the dogs in many games this year. Converting tries is not the only stat that counts in the halves.burton is terribly overrated. there’s a reason the dogs may move him on, 4 try assists all year. you all tear luai apart for his stats, burton’s are horrible for a 6. i think he’s a centre at best
Bird was reported to be around 400k per season,
and Hunt about the same or better (I read 600k somewhere - But surely we're not that Stupid)
Minimum wage for top 30 is 120-150 these days,
And you're only allowed a certain amount of players on that (4 maybe)
Everyone else is north of that, and those 2 - were well north of that when we got them.
Bird and Hunt aren't playing for 250k, when the likes of Tumeth etc. are on 120+
Well, Faataaapaaaey and Charlie Murray are great reserve graders, so yeah, there's that. But all snickerty aside, we have the biggest playground in the entire Sydney area, and I guess that's where the focus is going to be.Perth bears to secure Brisbane Tigers as feeder club , why aren’t we doing this , bloody hell the Brisbane tigers have got plenty cash as well to do stuff with in pathways , gives kids a run in qld cup via them , Richo what are you doing ,
Richo has said a few times ,there will be approx 2 players stealing wages over out putI heard Bird 400K and Hunt I think it was 500K
And the Elephant in the room for me is his Voice - he is Brooks-like when it comes to being the guy who can call the plays - too quiet! Not sure I didn’t see him in his juniors, at rep junior level HM, SG he was a running six played 7 a couple times for Workers in Cup. Moving bird yes , hunt no , we are still needing a big middle who can play longer , get hunt fit , I feel he was injured this season as he started off greatRicho has said a few times ,there will be approx 2 players stealing wages over out put
Klemmer gone Hunt on minimal Bateman ?
The equation is ok to push / move Bird n Hunt on and set a standard
Lighten up LES! I am just having a bit of fun at your expense. All good and stay stronge.LES isn’t my name mate . Thats a couple generations above me . I’m not sure anyone has named thier kid Les since the 1960s. Names like Les and Kim and whatever have gone the way of the dodo .
Brimson & Kini have both signed extensions till the end of 2030Canterbury moving on Burton and apparently looking to sign Brimson or Kini…. Two guys I like a lot …
They are always looking to work that squad to improve… you simply cannot rest on your laurels …
Unfortunately our unwanted guys are hard to move on …

I'm led to beleive that part of us taking on bird is that the dragons are paying a large chunk of his contract.Bird was reported to be around 400k per season,

No exgirlfirends. Especially ones that are selfish lovers.Ryan Matterson on his way back to Parra , when he was with us I thought of memory he was very good and money was an issue not his ability , I would see if Parra want to move him on and pay a bit to do so , he is a good lock option and always runs hard and tackles hard , if cheap after Parra tip in I would look at it , leaves AD at 7 and Latu when fit at 14 or reserve grade to learn more as he progresses
