Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

No-way hands off.
I am still enjoying yelling Helta Skelta at the tv, can we at least wait till the novelty wears off.
Seriously though unless they were offering him a lot more $ I’d be keeping him. He is the minimum standard we need.
Remember he is off contract Nov 1 and only on a modest contract with us $230k I think. If this new mob throw much much bigger $$$ at him, may be hard to keep him especially with Makasini coming through.

I hope he stays, just saying.

this forum is dreadful at times, negative about things that aren’t even relevant. benji literally talked about how tough he is with the playing group & he’s not in it to make friends and you think he wants to be besties with them all. yawn
The internet can be a place people come to channel the frustration that has built up in their personal lives. Take it with a grain of salt.

Good news WT pathways fans. Riley Oitmann locked in for '26 & '27 on what I assume will be a Jersey Flegg contract as he turns 20 next year. Lightning fast fullback/wing with good skills with hand & foot and a big boot despite his diminutive size. Good prospect in either the Ryan Papenhuyzen or Logen Dillon mould, hopefully more Papz.
Not really exclusive Zerotackle haha when his manager posted it a few weeks ago!

anyone watch t mays vlog ? talked abt gaining a ton of weight… trying to lose it all on a 5 day fast no food.

good to see all the boys playing oz tag together in the off season though.

I think if this comp is genuine at getting off the ground , they should be looking at nov-feb and make it more big bash , than some poor man’s SL impersonation .
Most leagues both union and nrl arnt running at these times so it could easily fill a void in the calendar / offer a way for players to maximise their return whilst in Avery short period of time . I mean even someone like say Daine Laurie a few years ago when he was with us . He had a brief moment in the sun he could have cashed in , got a couple of mil playing bush league in Dubai , before the shine wore off .
For me it will be aging stars looking to cash in / fringe players looking to propel their profile.
Whilst it will affect the depth of most nrl / union clubs around the world , I can’t see it being more than a novelty .
Like I said hopefully it gets viewed similar to the big bash league where it has its place , so big wig billionaires for the Middle East and sub continent can wager bets and have a pissing contest for a few weeks a year , before everyone returns to normal .
I can’t see too many players going hard for Dubai vs Boston , in front of 10k people at most . I mean seriously …
