It would be uncommon for a player to sign such a long contract on a pretty average wage for a starting player wouldnt it?... especially a Moses clientThoughts on Bula for $750k for 5 years? Seems like a win win to me.

Yeah - although he does want to play the Cook Islands every 2nd week to look good.Seems fair for all parties.
As always comes down to contract value and roster spots. If it's min wage and we still have multiple spots left, I'd be keen. If it was the last spot, I would not.Crown Sports posted Josh Schuster on their Tiktok saying watch for his comeback 2026
If he can find his feet again, he would really fix our problem at Lock
He would be minimum wage, likely to fit into our culture
Give him 2 years, an extra year in our favour and see how he fairs?
The forum will be asking why we signed him for 5 years after 3 rounds in 2027.It would be uncommon for a player to sign such a long contract on a pretty average wage for a starting player wouldnt it?... especially a Moses client
If Manly didn't see the value in him and Bennett didn't see the value in him why would it change at the Tigers. 3 years after his last 1st grade game and a lifetime after his last decent match. As always comes down to contract value and roster spots. Id much rather have a guy that IF motivated can not just perform at first grade level but be one of our better players (and completely understand it is a very big if), compared to a guy who isn't really up to first grade level on his best day but may be able to do a job if desperate.
Probably unlikely to work out but we have a few things in our favour including some of his childhood mates at the club.
Him and AD will be a good combo
They can make a formidable combination in defense by grabbing an arm each. 🤣At what?

Yeah I don't really see the benefits of a 5 year deal for either party currentlyThe forum will be asking why we signed him for 5 years after 3 rounds in 2027.

Because the forum will just go on and on about giving a 5 year contract to a potentially" good player" ( mind you not in the top 5 or 6 fullbacks in the comp) who didn't live up to the hype and now he's around for another 4 years etc etc. It'll just be monotonous. He's not worth 3 years! So ?
The forum can please themselves

Can you imagine an Isaac Moses client signing a contract for 750k when he has a current option for 2027 at 800k or 900k ?See my previous response 😂
This whole 5 year thing seems based on what a noted forum speculator says he “heard” ( ie read on Facebook/X)
And we ended up with some unknown Englishman who could not reach the Grand Final in the Sourhs A Grade competition?Noddy Kimmorley to coach Manly KOE ...the mole

It all sounds great in theory, but an Isaac Moses client lowering his value for a longer contract with Wests Tigers ?
I’d like to see that.
Using your experience and probability, what do you think will happen ?It’s forum speculation …. Not worth much if anything

On a part time basis as well....i wonder if Noddys part timeAnd we ended up with some unknown Englishman who could reach the Grand Final in the Sourhs A Grade competition?
You could write a book on how Wests Tigers do business.
Funnily enough I know one of the coaches who did make the Grand Final, maybe we should have signed him instead.
Not sure Bennett or Manly didn't see the value in him. They both offered him contracts at the start of last year. It was Schuster who chose to walk away from that contract mid last year.If Manly didn't see the value in him and Bennett didn't see the value in him why would it change at the Tigers. 3 years after his last 1st grade game and a lifetime after his last decent match.
And does he become an elite NRL fullback in 2026, demonstrating the form he showed against the Cook Islands on a regular basis ?My totally worthless gut feeling is he will sign a three year deal here around $2.3m 2026-28
