Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I wouldn’t believe it unless you heard it from Richo, Moses or Bula …

A 5 yr deal seems a little strange to me considering a large increase in the cap expected in 2028 when the new broadcasting deal kicks off …
Agreed. This is from someone connected to the agents but not Moses, so shaky at best, but they've been close before. Just found the numbers interesting.

In other news, I'm now pretty close with an ex-player/personality who has close ties with our coaching staff (enough to text them and get a quick response) so have started filtering things through him first.

Vicious will cry at how bad he was if it happened.
All his hoopla and dramatics for nothing.
Every Wests Tigers fan will be crying if we sign him to a long term deal and he doesn’t show any improvement.
If he continues to show form like he did against the Cook Islands on a regular basis we won’t have any problems.
The perfect scenario is probably extending until the end of 2027 then revisiting it this time next year once we have further evidence of his progression.

You keep moving the goal post, someone mentioned the offer is around the price you mentioned would be happy with and yet you still sook about things.

Just own it - you don’t rate Bula & don’t want him in the side.

great point ink. reece has played double the amount of games that bula has played. i think sometimes our supporters forget how young our squad really is.

also kinda funny that bula pushed reece out of the fullback position when they played together at kebra park.
I think it was the other way around. Reece pushed Bula out

Richo has no time for IM,and nor shld he.
If the kid doesn't wish to accept a more than fair offer now,the writing is on the wall
Richo will have several plan b options...first of which is AJ ..second is Hodgson taking Makasini to a neutral oval somewhere incognito to assess whether he has fb skills and if not does he have ability to acquire them
Mobility and athletism will be the key one next speed..its a big unit

Its not beyond the realms of possibility....if the team under Benji continues on an improve I dont see why Bula cant improve

Bulas played 57 games so far won 15 lost 32

Teddy in his first 52 games won 17 and lost 35

Walsh in his first 60 appearances won 26, lost 34

Edwards faring better, first 59 games won 41 of them

All showed glimpses of something special early ,,,none had played reps at that stage

Its very early days in his career, a stable spine will help all spine payers and the team in general...chopping and changing isnt really desirable for us at this stage, a top of the table team could handle that better imo

These things take time, we arent winning the comp in 26 but as long as we continue to improve I think thats where were at, at this stage
The stat's above are heavily influenced by the team each player is at.

Tigers are on the up and we need to keep good players to make us a powerhouse club.
