Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

He's not going to become our "Walsh" as he's 6 months older. He doesn't have the capacity to score thr try that Walsh scored in the grand final nor is he capable of putting on a tackle like Walsh did on Papenhyszen plys he doesn't kick goals not kick in general play.
Disagree. He’s done some freakish things on the field. Bula is a different style player with different attributes. Bula needs to be the best version of Bula and hopefully for the tigers.

Bula is capable of pulling off try saving tackles equal to other Fullbacks and is equally going to miss them just like every other fullback including Walsh - who has been exposed in D plenty of times. If you want to single out tackles go back and look at the tackle he made on Cleary to save a certain try last season.
Shoulder injuries/ surgery impact all players physically and mentally and it stands to reason that this season he would be mindful of managing it.

Every Wests Tigers fan will be crying if we sign him to a long term deal and he doesn’t show any improvement.
If he continues to show form like he did against the Cook Islands on a regular basis we won’t have any problems.
The perfect scenario is probably extending until the end of 2027 then revisiting it this time next year once we have further evidence of his progression.

Don’t worry about Bula …latest news is He is going and we are getting Connor Tracy…that will make you happy ? He is cheap

If we let Bula go and replace him with Connor Tracey my head would pop, there’s so many better young fullbacks on the market, and isn’t Will Kennedy unsigned still?

Yeah...
If that's true, and that sounds highly unlikely, then it would merely be an attempt for Toyota to pass on Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon's absurd tariffs in a different manner to just raising the prices upfront.
@Kul Are you planning on fixing this?

Or will you continue to refuse to engage or respond with posters who request this is removed?

Is this a public forum or not?

Yeah I don't really see the benefits of a 5 year deal for either party currently
Us - Certainty, the ability the plan long term, and a good value the longer the contract goes if not ratchetted.

Them - Certainty over future, Moses gets his revised cut in 26 and 27, etc.

There's plenty. That's not to say it's the best outcome for either party, but there are benefits to a deal like that.

I'd say, IF we get a deal done, it'd be more in the 3/4 years territory would be my bet.

I have doubt he is good enough and has enough x-factor to win us enough games to make the top 8 IF his price tag is too high and it doesn’t leave enough cap money to buy a couple more quality players to help.
IF his price tag is reasonable and it at least leaves us enough cap money to buy a couple more quality players, then that is not an issue.
Surely every fan here is sick of us failing and wants us to make the top 8 ?
Sometimes rs I wonder if we have become too comfortable finishing where we have been for the past 10 or so years.
I am putting my faith in Richo and Benji to come up with the right price for Bula for a minimal time extension [if he wants to go to PNG]. This gives time to shop around for a replacement if need be.
However, I am not totally convinced of a reasonable offer will be made as they may bow to pressure from within and offer overs?
The offers to Stef, Galvin and Da Silva still ring in my head. And we survived without them.
They would not have helped WT with better results but would have kept the war chest near empty.
