Bula's club option is for 27 that gives Attard 2 more seasons to develop.I
I got no issue with Bula doing his best in 2026 if he is signed elsewhere
Attard might be a bit young for 2027…

Not sure on the deadline it was mentioned on here recently but April rings a bell.Whens the option due to be taken up? I heard April

Could be an element of who blinks first with the 27 option. Why would Bula take up the option, when for an extra 100k, the club could pick it up.My gut feel is Richo isn’t picking it up

Well, if contract extension talks are going favourably, you'd expect not, like everyone on here I just wish the F it gets done sooner rather than later so we can just concentrate on pre-season and dream that we are in for a big year as we do every summer. My gut feel is Richo isn’t picking it up
He isn't because he has confirmed the following:My gut feel is Richo isn’t picking it up
Even the "news articles" aren't truthful especially from the TelegraphFALSE - there has been ONE story in which he was interviewed by Tyson Otto for the Teleghraph that was first published today!
He's been in NYC with his wife for the past fornight and has given no interviews since he was in Fiji camp prior to his holiday!
He does not state anything about seeing how he goes this season before making a decision in the Otto interview either - so you did misread it.
The only other media has been Richo confirming that we are working on a significant extension for Jahream...
Stop jumping at shadows and confusing social media posts as "news articles" FFS!
I’d say he doesn’t have permission to negotiate with anyone else, otherwise clubs would falling out of the sky to try and sign him.I don’t know enough about the wording of the option … what’s the deadline … is he in the open market now for 2027?
Again - learn the difference between opinion pieces masquerading as news that quote unnamed sources - & news articles that directly verbatim quote their primary sources (in this case the two supplied articles that quote Jahream and Richo directly) and work out what is credible!Even the "news articles" aren't truthful especially from the Telegraph
Let’s just give Bula 5 million for the next 5 years and he will sign tomorrow, problem solved.
There had been questions over Bula's future at the Tigers,
"I don't want to do a pick-up of the option, I want to do an extension long term," Tigers CEO Shane Richardson told AAP.
That makes more sense to me to see how he goes with the pressure of being a highly paid marquee player.Nah … just take up the option instead
That makes more sense to me to see how he goes with the pressure of being a highly paid marquee player.
It’s probably not that easy though, I assume Bula via his wonderful management company wants a big money long term deal.
So what does that mean ?Refer above … apparently Richo has declined the option
So what does that mean ?
Richo was to pay him less for a longer deal ?
Richo wants to pay him the same for a longer deal ?
Richo wants to pay him more for a longer deal ?
