And front rowers , which he will be by then , fall off a cliff once they hit 30. I mean they had to do it , they ended a game changer … but man that’s going to age like Dairy Farmers finest on a 40 degree day . And honestly , I don’t think he moves the needle at all in regards to wins and losses as good as he is . They have a tonne of talented forwards coming through , and with Stewart and halangahu , might be better than him as early as 2027. Hopefully he attracts players to the club ,because by 2030 , that will be the qorst contract in the nrl IMO.
I reckon Flanagan believes if he doesn't succeed, then he won't be the coach come 2027.
Heck that's probably an underground tactic now. Sign players for longer contracts. If the club gets stuck long term... Not your problem.
