Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I wrote an article about Galvins hip drop the other night,
And I pointed out the fact when with Tigers in his first year he was given 4 weeks.

With the Dogs he was not even penalised, but, I was then happy that the Judiciary did mention it the following day, but everyone was stating he would only cop a 1k or 1-5k fine for the offence.
And one of our members sent a reply to my message stating that they no longer worry about the hipdrop anymore.

Well I was just reading about two other hipdrop offences this last weekend,
And both players are tipped to get 4 weeks each for there hipdrops, but no mention of Galvins, so much for they dont worry about it anymore, two things can help a player escape bad results from judiciary,

And they are certain clubs are treated better than others, ( GUS GOULD ???? )

Or, so called SUPERSTARS are given benefit of the doubt.
And until this Club starts getting serious about being in the league ,that crappy end of the stick is ours

The club bought Attard, who has plenty of upside....Blood him in the role, just like the club did with Bula 3 years ago...he went straight into FG and had a great year...Attard could do the same...
I have to agree, but give Bulla at least a month of football if his attitude and or lack of desperation doesn't kick into gear, try Attard . As long as his form in the lower grade is solid. Earn your spot and cement it with 100 % effort.

He got 2 weeks - not 4!

See if you can get a keyboard with a Google key next to the Caps Lock and Bold Text keys.

It's been grossly exaggerated.
All he did was got himself a better deal - at a better club.

Benji left in a much worse fashion than a 20 odd yr old Te'o.
TWICE!!
The club had players lending them money at the time too though didnt they?

Doesnt sound like it was a great place to be. No one wanted to stay. The signings we got wanted to leave.

Seen Te'o in an Interview recently, Was talking about his transition from Keebra to the Tigers.
Said he had no choice in it, If you're at Keebra then - You're headed to the Tigers.
Said he was already contracted to us before we won the comp,
Because we were garbage and he wasn't interested in us, then all of a sudden we won the comp and he came down in the wake of that (2006 I assume)

Either way,
He had a fantastic career, Souths still haven't replaced him.
Good Player, Good Fella.
Very rated at Souths,
will make a decent coach at Origin replacing Hannay if that's where he's headed?

Adam O'Brien >>>>>>.W.T. attacking coach
It's kinda tempting...

Really we only have a few options, I would rather Trent Barrett (I never thought I would say that).
Why?

The existing relationship with Luai and the knowledge of the Penrith structure.
Also as a player he gets a Spine. He gets the role of Hooker, half and what is needed. Which honestly every ex Wests Tigers player bar Scott Prince fails to understand.

I don't believe there is a relationship with Terrell May and Obrien (could be wrong).
Obrien and/or Barrett would raise the standard. Plus our training department is WAY too inbred.
I mean WAY too inbred. Far far too many ex-WT's on the clubs training staff.

I don't think Ben Te'o will be an Origin coach. Maybe assistant for QLD, but a lot of people lining up for that role and Billy Slater will know who to pick.

Heck, Brisbane seem to be infighting and it seems clear Te'o is either starting it or heavily involved. Madge punted him for a reason and the Broncos have removed Gordon Tallis's name from a boardroom for a reason.

That reason is Tallis is a Douche!
Total Douche bag.

Forces are wanting to push Madge out of Brisbane, which means.
Who is likely to be the new Wests Tigers Attacking coach:
Michael McGuire.

Good on you mate, I appreciate you being here and sharing your perspective on things. I lost my pop last year. He was active in various forums up until the last year or two. So keep it up as long as you can mate!

Keep up the contributions. Don’t let other frustrated fans get to you. Any time I read a post that’s a bit rude I remind myself of all the heart ache the poster has gone through as a Tigers fan.

I reckon Barnett leaving is a blessing in disguise for the Warriors given how Jackson Ford has developed and currently playing. A younger, more athletic version of Barnett on much less money. He pairs well with JFH and they have good young middles on the bench like Vaimauga and Stowers-Smith.

The Warriors and Webster don’t get enough credit for their development and coaching of their young players and overall recruitment and retention strategy.
If only we could get a coach who can develop talent like Webster.
Oh wait, we let him go

Just listening to Triple M. They had Brent Read on, it would seem they all believe Bula is going to the Dogs without saying anything. Especially Woods who is very close with Moses.

I know we talk about it almost everyday but would be good if it's just gets sorted asap. Another year of outside noise just like Galvin that's not necessary

Disappointing but not suprising

Hes talented..but so are several others
Just dont wanna commit a lot of time and effort investing in him(like Galvin and Bula) to go thru the Moses wringer yet again...and be a distraction to the entire club
the moment Godinets contract is up ....the gain (remote likelihood of retaining him,and if is so at an artificial BS premium price
....)is is simply not worth the gain
Invest elsewhere
Can we legally say, we are offering you an extension, but only if you swap agents away from Moses when it's time to renew the agent agreement? If not, we say goodbye.
