Why pay 500K for a teenage Latu and then double down with Javon if you don’t rate them to be good in a few years?

The guns are under our roof already and improving at a rate of knots (not necessarily halves).

Why did we sign Luai at all then when we had Latu and Galvin? Becauas nothing is for sure with rookies. Look at Galvin. Also, who’s to say Doueihi will always stay at halfback. This is the downside of winning a few games early in the season. People think our problems have been solved.

Because they were kids then. When Luai leaves they’ll either be ready or replaced. AD is not a long term 7.

Luai extending for essentially 2 years a signing elsewhere after that and the forum is in meltdown. We may lose on the weekend sure, and yes there is Bula and a club option and no announcements … yet. I think too many here have PTSD. We should be extremely happy to be where we are. 3 time wooden spooners and now equal second heading into r9. Yes PNG money and all that and we could lose more players blah blah blah. It’s not Galvin gate and it’s not the Big 4. Let’s focus on Cronulla and hope we are competitive.
