Fractured foot for Samuela Fainu - 6 weeks
How do you know? Public?
Horror diagnoses? Talk about sensationalism. Six weeks could be a good thing considering it looked like it could have easily been season ending. And idk about anyone else, but I got flashes of Tuiaki. Thankfully it’s nothing like that. So six weeks is a relief in a way. Who knows, could be less if he rehabs well.HORROR DISGNOSIS FOR TIGER
Wests Tigers star Samuela Fainu is set to miss around six weeks with a foot fracture, in another huge blow to Benji Marshall’s outfit.
Fainu failed to finish Sunday’s heavy loss to Cronulla after an innocuous looking tackle on Sharks prop Toby Rudolf left the back rower grimacing with pain.
Unable to bear any weight on his right foot, Fainu had to be chaired off the field into the sheds by Tigers trainers late in the second half.
Fainu was sent for scans on Monday, which confirmed the 22-year-old had suffered a fractured foot.
It comes as Marshall prepares to spend the next four to six weeks without star playmaker Adam Doueihi, whose career best form has helped drive the Tigers’ resurgence this season.
Doueihi dislocated his shoulder scoring a try against Cronulla, leaving the field after just 10 minutes.
The look on his face when he was chaired off made you think he lost his foot, so yes, it could of been a lot worse.Horror diagnoses? Talk about sensationalism. Just a rumourMid season transfer. He wants to play for a team that has a chance of playing finals football.
Luke L goneski, Skelton goneski? We have no depth.
Would have to take a paycut to come here you would think. At least for next year.Just a rumour
No indication that it would be mid season.
I like the idea of Spencer Leniu and Royce Hunt together
Old Charlie would be handy right now.
Hope hes doing well
But Bula has resigned till 2030What is it with this club and foot injuries.
More foot injuries than you can poke a stick at.
I'm beginning to think foot injuries is a euphemism.
Does anyone connected with the club use air quotes when they say foot injury? I'm curious to know.
Do we need to employ Dr. Scholl?
Is his contract up end of next year? If he could somehow swing him for rest of this year and next then there could be some value there.Spencer Leniu is reportedly '75 per cent' of the way to joining former teammate Jarome at PNG
Swap them for one of their good players. Like, er, y'know, that one guy. Nah I got nothing.I thought I read somewhere Parramatta had asked tigers if they could get him mid season
o believe tigers told them to get stuffed

I wonder if it has anything to do the type of boots they are wearing, the stud pattern can effect feet. Back when I was playing league for my school & soccer for my local club and regional reps I ended up getting a different pair (both pairs with screw in studs) for league with a different pattern, the Physio at Blacktown City blamed my foot problems on wearing my soccer boots while playing league with the wrong stud pattern & wrong length studs. What is it with this club and foot injuries.
