The only experienced NRL right centres currently available for 2027 are Will Penisini and Jake Averillo.
I would happily take either of them, but Penisini is managed by Isaac Moses which would make that hard.
I believe Averillo would significantly inprove us at right centre, but he also has his defensive issues at times.
When you say Lottery Ticket on young players, anyone who has seen Mason Barber play will tell you it’s near certain he will become a regular NRL player by 2027 at the latest and it’s a very good chance he will become an elite player very quickly whether that be at centre, fullback or on the wing.
If we want a quick fix low cost right centre upgrade for this season, Max Feagai would be a good option.
Also with the bad news of Samuela being out injured for most of the season, we should have a look at Thomas Fletcher currently at the Rabbitohs but not getting any game time in their NRL team despite him being a standout in NSW Cup almost every week.
While I’m happy to see how Sione goes starting on the left edge and I do believe Tony Sukkar can make an impact and keep improving if given more opportunity, I think we lack a back rower who has good speed and agility to be a real attacking threat.

I have said in here a few times should ring the knights and ask about James Schiller

We could grab him for 18 months , it would very much help our run with Sam out for 12 weeks , even off the bench he would be a gun or put him into Sam’s spot and run Sione the same way we have so far

Its pure fantasy, but I guess it comes down to how out of favour he is at the roosters. They might be happy to get him out asap or on some sort of mid season loan? Just trying to see a world where we can still finish top 4 - maybe this is it.

Outside of those two the rest aren't priorities. Are we looking to the market for anyone else?

Thomas Fletcher and Max Fearguy .. Oh cmon we got to call him that if we sign him!

If Pensini (I am NOT calling him your nickname!) wernt a Moses player I would definately have him on the list.

Sukkar/Seyfarth are our depth till they can outperform those they replace.

He is a better version of Royce Hunt - an impact prop who plays short minutes and makes a big impact - but we already have a Royce Hunt and you can't have two of them in the same team. The only way you can manage that is if your other two props (assuming a 4-prop rotation) both play huge minutes.

Perfect guy as a backup. He's an average NRL player, and we need a few of them for our depth.

Big yes to Sam Verrills. Small with a bad injury history, he plays tough and is crafty around the ruck. Probably demands a decent paycheck that is worth paying IMO. Not sure he'd be willing to come here to play reserve grade though? Since he's so small, it's not really worth having him on the bench as he doesn't really fill other positions.
