What's Gould and Ciraldo have done really reminds me of what happened to our team around 2011- 2012.
Miserable but brilliant Sheens became too disconnected from the fans and the playing group, pulled the trigger on these bizarre roster decisions
that on paper are marginally technically sound, but all its done is rip up the harmony of the dressing room and the trust of the fans.
Same at the Bulldogs. Messed with a happy, tight knit playing group. They'd spent years getting it together. The ruthless changes make all the preseason slogans sound like bullsh1t. The problem isn't resolved until they're coming first again. Players are getting
booted when they already had it sussed out. The men in the team can't blow up at the gen Z golden child either. It's what happens when genius coaches lose touch and forget about the connection between the players and the fans.
It's a real mess.
