No idea why we signed Averillo? He's honestly not that good and not even fast even if people say it. A little acceleration and doesn't pass. Don't get started in defence. Back up for 2 years on 400k sure but nothing more. He is not a 5/8th.

Someone compared Averillo to Mbye earlier … we signed him in 2018 and were paying him more than that back then ..😂

The team on paper is better in 2027 than now. This needs to continue. Let's see who comes and goes next, it is all about depth signings now.

Seems like overs but there aren’t many good right centres available and there is a lot of competition with Perth and PNG coming in.

So true, what we should only be concerned about is does it affect the cap to the point it stops us from reaching the squad quality/depth target we're after.

If not, then it's a good contract.

Bloody hell, an 18,251-year contract. No wonder we're always getting into cap squeezes - can't imagine Hunt offering much at18,280 years old particularly given his size and the consequences of significant global heating. Short minutes for sure.

Roster building has been impressive. They have identified areas we are weak in and gone and got just about the best on market. KPP and Averillo are two players who are much better than the guys they replaced.

Averillo running off passes from Latu Fainu or Javon Andrews is pleasing. If I were an outside back at WTs, the thought of receiving passes from Andrews would be a dream.

Running off KPP with Bula backing up on the inside has me drooling

Pretty sure it will be mainly paid under the new larger player share of the upgraded broadcast deal, so provided there are no ratchet clauses it could be a reasonable contract 🤷
