I think with Averillo coming, he's pushed out.

He must have got the word that Manly were after him maybe that has lifted his game ?

Manly fans I know seem a lot more interested in him these past 2 weeks than originally when he was linked to them

Attard played alot of 5/8 at Penrith and wing he was third choice fullback in the juniors

Do you really think he has? I like him, I think he’s a good player and we are always better when he’s in the team. But he’s 24 or 25. He’s not a dynamic runner (lacks acceleration, is lithe, and therefore not powerful). I kind of think he is what he is. He’ll always be an 8 to 10 ranked fullback out of 17 to 18 teams.

He is nowhere near 1st grade at this stage

Don’t worry about Attard, what if you were Logan Brooke’s’ manager. They brought Attard in over the top of him on a 3 year deal. Re-signed Bula. And have been starting Mason at fullback in cup over Attard, forcing Brookes to the wing in Flegg. Brookes is off contract at the end of this year and I would think he is almost certainly gone.

I think Bula would make a great winger. Daniel Tupou-like.
However we're paying him as an elite fullback and he's not close to that yet.
Hopefully will develop a few more strings to his bow and get there.

Agree. Tino Tavana is the equivalent of Bula on the wing. And he costs way less.

I'd actually put Bula on the wing. Attard's a pure fullback
He'd be a target for attacking kicks and I think he's smart enough to be safe defensively on the wing.
The last 2 games we've been burnt by fullbacks who can do what all fullbacks need to be able to do, make something happen out of half a chance.
Bula will never be that guy, he's safe and he has his one trick pony skill of flying through on attacking kicks, he'd be a fine winger.
But like I said it will never happen now that we've paid him as a fullback

Need yards on the wing. Both are a bad call.

He did a double pump pass to the right today, after straightening up.. i was ecstatic , if he can straighten up more and break a few more tackles Bula will be outstanding.. he is continuing to improve and tarting to realise how good he can be.. we can find room for him and attard, Logan Brooke’s also can play centres after an nrl pre season, Latu , Javon , atteard , Brooke’s tavana and makasini and Heywood and tapau moors can be a huge factor in tigers for next 10,years
