Who is on your untapped potential.
Tough one @Bellend .

Glassie has it in spades. Think Huahulu is one flying a bit under the radar. Once he puts on a bit more size, James Lanyon. And I'm a huge fan of Kingston Finau who will move up to SG Ball next season.

In the forwards, Isaac Perkins has so much potential particularly as he fills out. Pure footballer, huge motor, great tackle technique & apparently a great young leader.

A diamond in the rough, I like Balmain harold matts backrower Ratu Maafu - tackle-breaker, aggressive, x-factor.

Just reading on Instagram Jared Haywood to possibly make his debut v Warriors. I don’t know this guy, is he ready and is he any good ?

Haywood is our second best prospect behind Andrews. It's clear why the club prioritised him over Da Silva - he is much more creative at dummy half, has a crisp passing game and decent pace.

However, like any young hooker, he'll take time to adapt to the physicality and speed of first grade. He's slighter than Lanyon and has not even played a full game of KOE yet. I think it's premature to blood him now; bettet to give him more time in KOE where he's started making an impact in the past couple of games. Within a season, he'll be bossing it like Andrews.

Likely that Latu spells Lanyon then and provides cover should AD or Luai go down. Telling that Madden has been dropped completely, he doesnt have an injury does he?

Phoniex is a good example of rushed Junior he needs time to mature needs another season in Flegg and a off season training with First grade squad.
We say this about more than a few in our junior squads- time to mature and another season etc in lesser comps. I agree with so much of that and we shouldn't rush them up but I'm very wary of other NRL teams especially Western Bears and PNG grabbing them, but i also don't want to have 24- 30 of the main NRL squad positions taken up by nowhere near ready juniors. Been there, done that. It's a conundrum with no easy solution especially when the junior players see stars in their eyes and think they're ready.

So you wa t more money invested which I do agree with, but keep in mind Benji via Richo and via the Scott Fulton saga has previously stated he does not want t a recruitment manager, he wants full control himself. Since that time Shannon Gallant has stepped into the role, so we do now have a recruitment manager that Benji approves of.
Richo once stated we do not need a Football Manager as he was capable of doing that job.
We now have a football manager in Pat Richard’s.
These are just 2 examples of positions that were not being filled by choice, nothing to do with lack of funding.
Our decision to put all our eggs into Benji’s basket and let him have pretty much full control of our rugby leave operation is looking very shaky at the moment, but it is not at the stage where we can say it is a complete failure just yet.
I am not overly confident he will turn it all around, but I am not jumping to conclusions just yet either.
I am not sure what your solution is ?
I know you want private ownership, but does that include getting rid of Benji and starting all over again or are you wanting to give the Benji experiment more time ?
Every NRL club that is not well entrenched in the top 8 is making bad decisions, so we are not on our own and fixing it without improving the playing roster is very unlikely.
I am now refusing to go to our games where we do not have our NSW Cup playing before our NRL team, so I am in total agreeamce that should be happening, but it has been established that this is more to do with NSWRL scheduling as every NRL team is having this same problem, not just us.
Just going back to this...

We has a serious miss in Cooper Clarke. Shannon Gallant and Marshall then need to answer as to why he wasn't signed?

We could have easily seen him take Mavrik or any of those fringie forward spots.

Ultimately, the club needs a serious plan for 2027-2032.
We don't have this, Benji cannot deliver this and we need to hire a NRL brain to come in from the outside and work out a wayforward. So over the same BS.

Read Tigers show interest in Leota , we would need it to be for 27 onwards not 28 , 27&28 with club option 29 probably the only way we get him , but would panthers give him for 27 , also at what price , $ $$$ V getting old , my take , if we want another prop get a young guy on the rise so we keep the team full of younger players to stay together long term

I am not happy about us missing out on Cooper Clarke either.
He is the type of young forward that would really complement our forward pack at the moment.
