I said he did good things.
He also made a lot of statements, and promises that he didn’t follow through with. His retention of players was poor. He was the loudmouth that derailed last season with the Galvin BS. That could have all been dealt with behind closed doors.
He boasted about new signings that turned out to be women!
He also tucked his tail and scurried away when he was presented the first opportunity…under suspicion one of his gravy trains had been interrupted. He absolutely could have stayed on and fought for the club and chose not to.

They are a dark cloud hanging over the entire club and until they are gone the negative headlines will keep showing up every couple of weeks

The NRL will love this turmoil. It's outstanding for coverage and ratings. No other code can get a look in because there is always something happening at WTs. We should ask for a bigger slice of the NRL pie - any publicity is good publicity.

Publicity like this does not attract good players in their prime, good support staff, or new sponsors.
It attracts opportunists like Luai who are smart enough to manipulate the situation to their favour.

WTs are singlehandedly promoting the NRL, positive or otherwise coverage. PVL will be loving this and awaiting the next round of turmoil. Those clicks can be heard all the way back to Moore Park.

The "club' is the biggest handbrake for any coach and every coach becomes the wiser once they fall victim.

Yes Benji built the roster but the club is mud to more players than those prepared to commit and those that do demand more money for the risk leaving very little for anything beyond the top 17, and a demand to tie up any talent prematurely to build for the future.
Strong clubs don't have to invest big dollars in juniors because they seek to go and stay there for an opportunity.

Our fans are either masochists or blinded by false hope but almost convinced while ever we keep turning up for more of the same that's all we are going to get and probably deserve.

We are supporting a club that knows only one thing how to lose while lamenting or attacking the ones who find success elsewhere, or were successful before they came here.
And that is why we are joke.

We have a home ground that gets packed to the rafters with fans our best performances are there we have funds to improve it and our controlling body want to limit games there and take games to an area that we struggle to connect with!!
We just make it easy for every other club.

There is too many teams, the competition is too long and we are the bottom feeders of it all.

Not enough quality players in the comp and our best players are not to the standard of most other teams but are paid well for the privilege.

We are a spare parts club for other teams and it won't change because the rot is too ingrained under a dysfunctional administration more concerned about emblem size, colour ways of the jersey and ensuring that Leichardt Oval games ard limited.
