The reason they can let players leave, there juniors are so much better than most other clubs have , there all big , fast and always seem ready for 1st grade , we really need to follow there program, rather than picking small , slow players

It’s cuz they invest a moza in their pathways. They provide them with a unit in their academy, pay for their schooling, high performance, flights if they are from NZ etc. If I’m a talented kid I know where I’d rather go

I feel your frustration, he's obviously been injured since Staggs smashed him and he got up wincing holding his shoulder but agree with a few he needs to work on his core strength.

If he could just break through the line more, he would be a much bigger threat in attack, he's always so close on many occasions big off season in the weights room required.

Big potential, but needs to be more consistent under the high ball, needs to improve defensively and needs to back himself and be a bit more involved and selfish with ball in hand.
I am one of Heath Mason’s biggest supporters, but he simply does not have the same physical attributes and potential as what Jack Attard has as a fullback.
I would push hard to develop Mason as a 9/13 similar to Connor Watson, but that’s another story,

You make it sound like Tigers can recruit, apart from a few decent ones we’ve never been able to recruit. The clubs best signing in history is probably Gareth Ellis and we aren’t topping that in the near future. No decent players are gonna consider us so just forget about trying to sign them it ain’t happening.

Whilst I fully expect Bula fullback and Averillo centre I believe the reverse of this is their best positions.

Many young fullbacks struggle under the high ball. I recall Dylan Edwards had really poor hands and dropped them often in his first year in the NRL. Tedesco was also not entirely safe under the high ball in his first year. It is part of the learning process.

Big Tuku Tapuha had a very good game for the Jets v Dragons in NSW Cup today and at age 24 with a good sprinkling of NRL games behind him and a few solid seasons of NSW Cup to help him toughen up, I’d say he is ready to become a more regular part of the NRL top 17 at some club from 2027 onwards.

He did not ball play here at all. He was a one man band that tried to beat half a dozen blokes to score on his own pretty much everytime he touched the pill.
He became a rounded elite footballer in the Roosters system.

He improved as a player in time through natural development with age and experience. But a significant part of his game disappeared and went backwards at the Roosters.
