I'm not making an argument specifically for or against Brad Arthur, just pointing out he has a less than stellar record and that's where we're at as a club.

And our previous 2 coaches to Sheens/Benji both won the comp after leaving us.

I said this at the time so this isnt hindsight, the Broncos won the comp because the players knew they had the team and had to take this chance. I said they won in spite of Madge, and this year looks like its backs my thoughts up. I knew they couldn't get up again. Madge is terrible coach and I give him no credit for the Broncos win.

Couldnt script it could you? This injury proneness must cast doubt on his future on anything but a minimum value contract immaterial of his brother's desire

It would free up a few dollars and cost us more for a replacement who couldn't perform the role as well as Seyfarth does now. Expecting the Board to rubber stamp this immediately (after the chicken wings and chardonnay has been consumed).

Another Sullivan type move where we pay him to play at souths and spend money to bring a player like Madden. They have lost the plot this place.

They share a common denominator in that they originated from the Balmain juniors. It explains that they are close, but their ethnicity is hardly relevant. I don't attach a negative connotation to it unlike the poster who made the original comment.

My only meaning PandC was that AD, Twal and Sukkar have a common ethnicity.
Nothing more, nothing less.

I believe the salary cap will impact the Dragons when their young forwards have their contracts renewed. Stewart, Egan and the Couchman bros will be in demand. The advantage for the Dragons is the lifestyle on the coast.

Harsh. He has won premierships at 3 clubs plus trophies at NSW and NZ. Tim Sheens by comparison has only won 4 Premierships over a much longer career.

Clearly Madges' approach has a short half-life but to give him no credit is harsh.
