Yeah I know but it just feels weird barracking for a different country. If it was Dogs vs Warriors, who would you rather?
If Man United were playing Real Madrid in the Champions League final who do you think the Man City and Liverpool fans would be going for?
Yeah, I thought so too. He wasn't picked for any of our squads all year, with no mention of injury. So when I saw he was in Flegg I was kinda hoping he'd changed his mind.then Signed with Perth Bears
Agree. Vaka Aho is currently as good as any middle on the market. From memory he was far superior to Underhill when we played the Bulldogs in NSW Cup too. And from what I hear, Vaka is a very good trainer and has the cardio fitness a middle needs in the modern game to churn out 20+ mins per stint at NRL level. I'm personally not surprised he has surpassed Taateo in the NRL pecking order given Taateo's susceptible strength in defence on his line.Forget about signing any props for 2027 as the last decent option with proven NRL experience being Sam Hughes has just re-signed with the Bulldogs for another 12months and seemingly no interest from us.
Toby Rudolf is also currently off contract, but I reckon he would be looking for a higher value contract than what we can afford and by his own admission he wants to start focusing more on his post football media career.
I’ve seen a few mentions of Jack Underhill who supposedly wants out of the Bulldogs and maybe the reason why they have kept Sam Hughes for another 12 months. He showed some promise in a couple of NRL games off the bench earlier in the season, but he looks to be a very no frills type of player, not sure he offers any more than our own Vaka Aho or Archie Duncombe.
I reckon Kit will be back with us in 2029. Develop his game in Perth & return to us as a beast.Yeah, I thought so too. He wasn't picked for any of our squads all year, with no mention of injury. So when I saw he was in Flegg I was kinda hoping he'd changed his mind.

I wasnt suggesting we target Walsh id say thatd be futile...but their may be someone eslse suitable..Does he like Benji?
He is already a superstar fullback, but he could also be a superstar halfback or 5/8

Could all be BS likely exaggerated but without knowing who the 11 are if any at all...i doubt thered be a mass exodus but who knows
As for 2027 we are not running out, we are out of options except for Toby Rudolf or Jack Underhill and as I previously mentioned, I do say Toby Rodolf’sxasking price is above our budget and I’ve seen nothing in Jack Underhill to say he’s any better than a few of our own emerging prop prospects. We need grunt severely in the middle. Our depth is extremely low but we never prioritise this area. Hope I'm proven wrong and we get someone decent, but like you said, running out of options.
Sometimes we overlook the extra experience and improvement from our own players within.Agree. Vaka Aho is currently as good as any middle on the market. Burton is a hopeless halfback, hence why the dogs have tried so many times to replace him in the halvesNot sure I have an opinion on this, but do many people see Burton as a halfback?
If there is any potential for a swap with AD, and a longer term deal for Burton.
I would be guaranteeing Burton the 7 jersey for 12 months. Over that 12-months, give Latu the 6 jersey.
Allow Javon a full season at halfback in reserves next year, and then Burton to lock in 28’.
How many players are we gonna put at 7 before we actually get a 7Burton is a hopeless halfback, hence why the dogs have tried so many times to replace him in the halves
That was so poor from the club to throw him under the bus like that, pretty obvious as well Madge and the medical staff made him not playMedia spec* on the broncos increasing...talk.11 players pissed at them throwing Reyno under the bus

In my opinion there are not really any current Broncos players apart from the extremely expensive obvious ones that would be of much benefit to us.I wasnt suggesting we target Walsh id say thatd be futile...but their may be someone eslse suitable..

We’ve been trying to turn a 6 into a 7 since 2014, hopefully one lands in our lapHow many players are we gonna put at 7 before we actually get a 7
Why hasn’t vaka made a debut of the bench yet? Especially since our bench is always undersizedAgree. Vaka Aho is currently as good as any middle on the market. Hopefully we can pinch willisonIn my opinion there are not really any current Broncos players apart from the extremely expensive obvious ones that would be of much benefit to us.
But if simply discussing a possible implosion at the Broncos, it’s very possible for them unfortunately.
We do love trying to turn 6’s into 7’sWe’ve been trying to turn a 6 into a 7 since 2014, hopefully one lands in our lap
If we have a spare 1.1 million per season we could be a chance.Hopefully we can pinch willison

The law of averages says one will work out eventually 😂
