Adam D burnt his bridges at West Tigers if he wants out than so be it. He is a utility player but he is not a halfback.

That's your mistake, worrying about what he looks like.

PVL got to where he is because he's shrewd as hell and people keep judging him how he looks. Look up his history - he's entrenched as a successful sports administrator, even if you think his tactics are questionable.

his tenure at the trots was pretty ordinary

check out the 1997 documentary The Track all about PVL and the trots

His efforts around equine influenza with racing nsw and nrl covid was good however. He really took racingnsw to Victorian spring carnival and done well with that

Surprised to see all the negativity around Seb Kris - he walks into our backline imo, on the wing, pushing Tupou out. He's a good player.

He is a good player plays center wing and fullback he would be a good buy
 
I think the question now is, how much is Sanders on? Is it significant enough for Ricky to want to free that cap space up? He would be a good fit for us or Souths

Depends on the situation. If Ethan is ok 600k a year (i have no clue what he is on), and Ricky is super confident Black will be the 7, then it seems poor roster management to keep your back up half occupying that sort of cap space. That being said Black would be on much, so I guess it all evens out.
 
I know this wouldn’t happen but I would play AD at 14. Let Twal start as 13 and then move him into the prop rotation after 20 minutes and bring AD on as an attacking 13 and constrain his defensive loads.

I think being closer to the ruck 13, is either pass early or run. He seems to not be able to set his outside man in shape and uses a cut out face ball. I do think he has the ability to offload in traffic and he seems very awkward to tackle which may present opportunities for Api or Bula as they trail through.

Do you guys realise that all season black has been playing nsw cup in a side about equal with our reserve grade side but our 19 year old half has double the line breaks , try assists and line Break assists of ever other half in the comp including black? Black is a class act, but so is his halves partner from 19s origin last year, our own Javon Andrews..Javon has all the attacking qualities needed to be a superstar half,, he does need work on his tackling technique but remember he had a career threatening spinal injury 2 years ago and seems just a little tentative to ‘ dive “ into a tackle.. but deadset he is as good as any young half around.. if he played. Flegg today we win by 20 imo
