Oates looks to have reasonable potential, but I’d say he is currently a long way behind the standard of Fonua Pole.
Fonua Pole is a must re-signing for us.

I don't think we can afford to release AD for 2027. We are slim on game changers, and regardless of what some fans say, the reality is that when AD is humming he can change the course of a game.

The issue is that he's injury prone, just like Latu.

Benji has a lot of roster decisions to make.

The problem probably isn’t whether we want to keep him. Its who would want to take him?

Independent board sounds great, but they must be made up of the right people with the skills for running a NRL franchise. Most importantly they must have the ability to generate the capital required to run a successful franchise. Without probably doubling our operating budget we will always be bottom or close to it.

Not be logical to allow our team to succeed, very annoying.
We have 5-10 people who regularly suggest potential signings and at times make some very good suggestions.
We have 5-10 people who regularly provide updates on signing news which is very informative.
We have 5-10 people who regularly watch and provide informative updates and/or match reviews for our lower grades and pathways.
We have 5-10 people who are very good and very smart with their analysis of games and individual player performance.
Those who do not fall into those categories just come on here to whinge and whine and be critical of those who actually have an opinion or post sonething informative.

The problem is you think your the greatest mind in rugby league history and we should all bow at your feet

Good point, and without the club having to pay anything.

I'm divided on AD. Unfortunately without knowing the truthful relationship he has with Benji & how he is viewed by all his team mates, we are best to leave judgement to Benji & Pat Richards.

When you break down AD, he has attributes suited to so many positions - halves, centres, fullback, lock, 2nd row - but he lacks in at least 1 crucial area for each of those positions imo. For example, he could be a good backrower but lacks the tank & effort areas in defence.

All I hope is that Benji has a solution for halfback that is not AD and sits down with AD to map out his positional future (either a permanent switch to lock which AD is all-in on or shift to 5/8 accepting he's a bridge to Javon). If AD doesn't accept that, then he is free to explore his option to leave with no subsidy from the club.
