Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

St George Illawarra intend to make a play for Blues and Australia outside back Jack Bostock if the Kangaroos debutant becomes a free agent on November 1.

Where the hell are Saints suddenly getting all this money from? Did they take out a loan with Politis?

Last listed for Wests at 106kg … wouldn’t call that skinny lol

He's very thin mate. I highly doubt he is 106kg

Hed want a 2 or ideally 3 yr deal....penrith cld use him rite now

Never thought I’d see that happening, but it’s actually very true! Penrith have struggled with five eighths since Luai left, the replacements are too green and now Cleary is out for an extended period they could actually use Brooks’ experience in the halves. He slotted into Fozball very well, no reason he can’t adapt to the Penrith style of play as well. Many of our ex players have already.

His ball playings his strength. Though i dont think hes tough enough for lock

He has openly said when signing on he wants somewhere halves. How realistic that is in real world WT and the NRL squad who knows

It would be great for Bostock and Colquhoun to return to the Illawarra. I don't know how the Dragons let them go.

Well...i dunno about great.
Itd be great if we could snag him.
Thayd be great

Is this like when you hear your boss is sick and you say get well soon but you're relly lying?

Yep. It’s be great if they don’t return to the dragqueens as punishment for being stupid. It’d be great if PNG beat them home on the ladder.

Skinny ? Not a fat kid anymore? Or should I say Big Bone kid ?

Nope far from it

He’s 195cm tall . And an islander . And would have a shit tonne of muscle memory l/ /muscle mass .

There would be quite a few players out the door before Seyfarth. He is a competitor and has that fire that many of his teammates lack.

Agree. I used to think he and Twal were competing for same spot and 1 was superfluous, but now both should be in the NRL squad on their own efforts.

But he will still be contracted. As will Brailey and Haywood.

Didn’t api say he would be open to finishing his career in Perth, let him have his payday there and bring in Harry, there’s no guarantee Haywood becomes anything close to Harry Grant

He said something to that affect. Then he re-signed with us.

Brooks also had a good year when he played under ivan

Good chance if he wants to head back to the Illawarra

185 on our Wests site. Still a big boy now… he got massive before.

[TurnStyle]

How many hookers do you want?

Who cares how many when you get the best? You make tough decisions like successful clubs.

It's the definition of a pipe dream (actually signing him), but the reality is he is way ahead of Api and would make a massive difference.

A thread recently asked: "any three players from any other club" and Grant was one of my choices.

Anyway, we can dream... 😂

[TurnStyle]

Anyone hearing the club is delaying the departure list due to negotiations about lay down Douhei being moved on?

Stop teasing! 🤪

[TurnStyle]

We have to go for Harry

Definitely. Very long odds, but at least try!

He's had a course of Ozempic?

Well, players at the tigers can't just demand they play in the halves or they don't play at all!

Wait.... 🤪
