Well, players at the tigers can't just demand they play in the halves or they don't play at all!He has openly said when signing on he wants somewhere halves. How realistic that is in real world WT and the NRL squad who knows
Douhei is going nowhere.Stop teasing! 🤪
I know... 😟Douhei is going nowhere.
Yeah. I think it was simply didn't tell the auditor rather than try to hide it as Tigers were 'busted' by openly discussing it in the media. From memory Tigers forgot to inform the auditor of the post career provision (or tried to hide it 🤷)
I can't believe how many people think this. Defence is the most nuanced aspect of the game and needs elite level coaching more so than any other aspect. If there isn't much coaching involved with defence and defensive systems , why are we so continually bad at it
Well, you should care. You don’t just chase marquee players for the sake of it. Especially not in a position you already have sufficient depth in. We’ve been talking up Haywood for the last 6-12 months. Some have floated that he’s a future captain. Why block his path? It’s a 7 we are in need of. Not a 9.Who cares how many when you get the best? You make tough decisions like successful clubs.
I think to much is made of the success at the start of the season. Everyone seems to be happy blame injuries for our failures but not question the role it may have played in the wins.Point has been made here a few times but I don't think our defence was very good to start the year. We still looked very fragile defending our red zone but it was masked because because we were dominating the yardage battle and teams simply weren't getting much of a look in.
2 of those games we copped a sinbin in which was the only time we looked like leaking any points & we had players missing tooI think to much is made of the success at the start of the season. Cowboys: missing Cotter, Nanai and Drinkwater playing with busted ribs was a passenger.
Knights: missing Ponga, Best and Brown
Eels: missing Iongi and Hopgood. Then lost 3 backs during the game and still scored more tries in their loss.
Raiders: missing Young, Sasagi, Savage, Papalli and lost Martin mid game.
can’t see Harry coming back anyway he’s 28 and hasn’t won a competitionWell, you should care. You don’t just chase marquee players for the sake of it.
