Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

So we've officially picked up 3 good first graders (Matulino, McQueen and Reynods) for next year and have some money to spend. Who's next on the list for Ivan "The Conductor" Cleary?

The Warriors obviously rate him higher than Lolohea not just because he's named to make his debut on the weekend but with them playing him at fullback with Tui on the wing in reggies. He will be on the radar of a few NRL clubs now but as long as we're interested we could be a big chance to sign him having fullback, one centre & one winger position up for grabs next year.

Not a chance we'd want Eastwood. Kasiano, maybe if they pay half his contract.

Got to remember that Lolohea is behind RTS, Foran and Johnson in their spine. 3 million dollar players. He's good, but he's not at their level at present. Why would they stock so many similar players?

I see him give team mates a spray often…. I don't think he's earnt the right to do this even if he is (c)... Just looks like a Flog to me even if he is a good player

If a captain can't give his teammates a rev-up then he may as well not be captain. Don't you think?

Wouldn't be surprised if we signed George Jennings. Off contract at the eels, IC gave him his debut at Penrith. NSW cup signing if we did get him.

Moylan looked the goods under Cleary, it's all coning apart now.

Lets not forget Griffen is the coach who couldn't make the Finals with Brisbane, that's almost Alan Jones worthy considering the roster.

Looks good…could be better option than Gordon

Half of Gordon's attraction is that he is a goalkicker.

I doubt if this guy is.

We will be desperate for a kicker.

Have you seen Gordon's kicking percentage this year? It's one of the worst.

I wonder if Lawrence still has the kicking in him.

FWIW Gus seems to think he is carrying an injury this year which has forced him to change his kicking style. This style is not as effective.

With the rest of this year and an off season I am sure he would be over that injury whatever it is (and if he has one) and be back to 88% success rate with his kicks.

It is imperative that we do not go into 2018 with a recognised kicker up around 85-90%.
Part time or so so kickers are just NOT good enough.
