Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I've never understood why people would think James Graham is on the outer at Belmore… He is by far their best forward and instils heart/passion into their team on the paddock.

Looking at there list, surely they would be looking to move on Kasiano & Toleman first?

I have a feeling Aaron Woods will be heading to Belmore to play #13 so Klemmer can be used more effectively again.

Can scrap dugan from the list - Graeme Hughes on 2sm has just said dugan is joining the bulldogs

Probably explains why Saints were looking at Gagai, hope this doesn't stop Packer signing with the Tigers as it will free up cap space for Saints.

Could also mean James Graham will be available??

Pretty sure Des said Graham will be staying. Tolman, Kasiano and Eastwood most likely the ones to go or be told to look elsewhere

Tolman just resigned didn't he?

I'm not going to put anything past Des, he kept on Mbye at the expense of Reynolds.

Mbye will be a better player without Reynolds.

I see him give team mates a spray often…. I don't think he's earnt the right to do this even if he is (c)... Just looks like a Flog to me even if he is a good player

If a captain can't give his teammates a rev-up then he may as well not be captain. Don't you think?

My point is he isn't even a © even though he has it beside his name.... Wallace does more for that team.... Moylan u don't think wants the Captaincy... It was a mistake giving it to him, but regardless he hasn't earnt the right to spray team mates

sorry to change the story line, BUT WHAT THE HELL IS GOIING ON, its been 2 days and no more signings. I THINK IAM HAVING, withdrawal systems. I hope Ivan has not run out of players or money, was really liking us been on the news for the right reasons.

That's not how it works for the Dogs, they have to find someone who wants them. You can't offload players on contract that nobody else wants, that's not how it works.

Dogs can put "for sale" signs on their lowest need players, but if nobody wants them, well then you have to sell your Josh Reynolds-es.

Theyre all probably under contract for 2018 and as it is they're looking at a prop rotation of Woods, Graham, Tolman, Klemmer and Kassiano. Even assuming they find a home for big Sam, that's a lot of cap tied up in props, at least 1/3\. Sure you could play one at lock but still, some big name is starting from the bench.

Yeah he will be, at hooker.

I'm sure that wasn't by choice. Mbye was contracted and Reynolds wasn't…

No I think you'll find that they'd struggle to get anyone to take on Mbye at full fare with the way he's playing.

Yeah that's what I was saying - he had to flick Reynolds because he's stuck with Mbye on a horribly inflated contract and probably couldn't even get another club to pick up half his freight. Maybe we're just misunderstanding each other but saying the same thing…

Unsure of whether this has been mentioned before and this might be a ridiculous suggestion, but why not go after Jarryd Hayne. He might be a dreamer, a know it all and stuck up but he provides an x factor that we need. He can win a match by himself when he's on his game.

for the price he'll demand…it's not worth it. I'd prefer a well balanced team of 350K players. Than a 1.2Mil player and a bunch of 150K players.

Yep and only performs when he wants to (around origin time).

BREAKING NEWS!!
*DUGAN TO DOGS, LOLOHEA TO TIGERS & TMM TO WARRIORS!!
- The Bulldogs will very soon announce the signing of Josh Dugan for season 2018 and onwards…
- Tuimoala Lolohea will join the Wests Tigers but not sure if it is effective immediately or for 2018 and onwards.....
- Te Maire Martin will join the NZ Warriors but same with the Lolohea one i am not sure if it is effective immediately or for 2018 and onwards.....

Still not keen on the idea of us signing Lolohea, but I guess it's gonna happen anyway. I just thought we could do better.

Who would you like us to sign for fullback? I'm struggling to think of many options if we miss out on Lolohea. Either way I am concerned that we will be missing the X factor in our squad next year but hopefully have a team that plays with a bit of heart.
