Just so I'm clear on this, if we aren't mentioned by Ali, Mole or the like, we're not in discussions with a player?
I'd think Cleary is a bit too smart to not at least sound out Gagai or his manager, who knows how far that discussion got, but could be a matter of "No I want to play centre at 8-900k a year."
I'd love to see Dane in our colours, but just because we're not posted as 'in the running' by a social media rumour-monger doesn't mean we haven't spoken to him.

Considering the Tigers have been linked too numerous players already it would be very likely that the Tigers would have sounded out Gagai for next year and beyond.

Put into perspective that he's stayed at Newcastle all these years and still played outstandingly… imagine him with a real team around him.
