New coach Ivan Cleary has been very busy in the marketplace. Already the club has secured the services of experienced, representative-class players like Josh Reynolds, Ben Matulino, Russell Packer and Chris McQueen. **My mail is that there will be more announcements this week on another two signings from rival clubs.**

Interesting - from rival nrl clubs. No idea who they are, especially if it's to be announced this week.
Eastwood seems to be a no deal now and the others being rumoured are in the super league. Maybe it's Ottio from the raiders?

Could be Guerra as we have been linked to him.

Ah yes, had forgotten about the guerra link. Could be one of them.

While not brilliant would be better than Eastwood

I would suggest that it is not Fonua or Thompson they are talking about as a 'rival' club would be one in the same competition as the Tigers, not ESL.

Or maybe I'm wrong….

'I suggest it may not be the last player the Tigers recruit from across the Tasman"

Another from across the dutch eh?

The only players that have been in negotiations with the Tigers that i have been made aware of are Lolohea, Hiku and Guerra. It would probably be two of those players, unless they have been negotiating with other players that i'm not aware of…

Definitely sounds like Lolohea;

"The hardest player to replace will be fullback James Tedesco. There is no player quite like him anywhere in the NRL. Proven fullbacks are also very expensive. I’m not sure how much room the Tigers have left in their salary cap after their recent buying spree, but it would seem more likely they will need to search for a youngster who is on the way up, and patiently develop him in this key position."

That sounds like Lolohea to me

Don't think it'll be Lolohea as warriors denied him a release this week.. But things can change quickly…

Surely they have sounded out CHN. Would be very surprised if Ivan hasn't made contact with this fella.

At least Gus doesn't look for sensationalism when he writes. He doesn't really need to, but he doesn't do it anyway.

He just gives an opinion/analysis and whether or not you agree, at least it's usually a well researched, well written and fairly level-headed. Plus you have to respect his background in the game.

I get the feeling he's talking about one of the two signings as Lolohea. Obviously he would be in the know regarding the TMM situation knowing that there will be a domino effect in terms of player transfers regarding Lolohea/Martin/Moses etc. One has fallen, two others just need to fall into place.

Does anyone know what happened to the Taane Milne 'signing'? A couple of weeks ago it was just a matter of time but as time goes by less and less is said about him. You'd think that any cooling off period would be well and truly over by now.

in reference to Gus knowing about two more signing, do you think he might know because there from his club, he mentions a young fullback - maybe Edwards,

Lolohea is Ivan's first choice.

With Dugan as good as gone I would say he will be staying right where he is!

Did I hear right that gagai has signed for the Rabbits??

This would surely create a great opportunity to nab Cody Walker, but it also does seem he has extremely high valuations of himself.

This a player worth chasing?

The first player is most likely Tui Lolohea, which is common knowledge.

I'd guess the second guy is from Penrith, since Gus would know about this too. Most likely Hiku, i'd say.

Gus usually isn't one to refuse a young player a transfer if there's opportunity for regular football…
