I would wait if I were WT. Lawrence and Lattimore are average at best and could fill a bench role. That said I'd try hard for Vete or wait until clubs have to release players. He is a strong forward who will do well being mentored by Cleary, Packer and Matulino. I think he will shine away from NZ. Hopefully we pull it off.

You would have to think this week after the Super Rugby decision. Not sure the timeframe on a team being punted from Rugby though.

That just sounds like it's been lifted straight off this forum, particularly the wording of "offered contracts" which is not usually how these things are reported.

I think the next players we will sign are a wing, prop and back row. perhaps Rona, Graham and Glenn are tragets??? I think re-sign McIlwrick, Sausoe Sue (2 year deal wit option in clubs favour) and Ballin (1 year). I think Gamble should be our back up half so Littlejohn can go and Naiqama and Idris are Super League-Bound.

Hopefully the Transfers have just started.

Why on earth would you sign Ballin,Manly knew his legs where shot when they let him go pity we didnt check very hard.Waste of money last year and an even bigger waste this year

Vete is the ideal bench prop because of his impact from the interchange. Toilers if they are good start. If average for NSW Cup depth.
 
Ballin at the time was a good risk. Unfortunately it didn't work out.

I very much doubt he would be offered another contract.

Would be a good person to have have in the S & C team though.

Aren't u the same guy who thought Anasta was a good idea?

Ballin who was nearing retirement and coming off a knee reconstruction was never a good idea
