Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Think the forward pool has just about dried up - we are now down to the dregs.

Probably best to stay with what we have, i.e. give the young guys a go (Eisenhuth, Twal, Felise, Tatola etc.) for the remainder of the year and see who stands up so we can use them next year.

If someone good forward comes on the market between now and then, try to get them. Not worth grabbing a forward for the sake of it though.

I seen Quade Cooper been dropped from the Wallabies squad, any thoughts?
Just thought I'd throw it out to create some comments,
I'm sure that I'll get plenty.

would love to see IVAN go back to the old tart and bring back a young ELLIS type player or two.

He is going to kidnap some kids from an old prostitute?! Sorry mate, couldn't help it. Would be good if Ivan could bring us another Gareth indeed, he was a great talent but I don't think players of his quality grow on trees over there.

The list of available players looks like NSW cup players. Need to either wait for a contracted player to be moved on or take a risk on an untried youngster much like Addo Carr when he signed

Kalifa Faifai Loa has asked for a release from the dragons.

I would say this an attempt to stop Rona switching back to the NRL .. pick him an extended train on squad and make him feel wanted .. think they call it smoke and mirrors.

Brenton Lawrence back to the Goldy reported on NRL Tonight,,,,next…

Damn that was one I hoped we would land…still some options out there in Vete, Paasi, P Kaufusi and Boyle, as well as Latimore and Tagataese as depth options.

Rumour Mill: Cooper Cronk is expected to announce he will be playing with Cronulla next season though there is speculation Canterbury are set to make a late play. Jai Arrow will be playing for the Titans in 2018\. Michael Lichaa is set to play for Parramatta next season. Blake Austin is likely to end up at Newcastle. Tyrone Peachey has had a gutful at Penrith and will seek a release with Canterbury and South Sydney both in the running.

Should we have a crack at Tyrone Peachey .. very versatile ??

How about this one:

Had to Be Seen to Be Believed: Joel Edwards catching the ball on a standing start, spinning, rolling, busting tackles and carrying three players over for a try. I saw it and still don’t believe it.
