What happened to the rule that you have to use most of the salary cap? If we’re $1m under, are we in breach?

@ said:What about Gideon Gela-Mosby he is VERY fast and has pretty good has, only problem would be defence as he has the same frame as Addo-Carr

I'm with you BP…players realise they can slide out of WT contracts and instantly go on to other stronger clubs ....where they invariably thrive.
Brisbane(x2)Souths,Manly,Eels and now Dogs have ex-WT players who have had contracts rescinded by US.
Each early termination had on its own quite plausible explanations as to why we acted the way we did,but we never get reciprocation and I'm starting to get the feeling that other clubs(and our own players) are playing us off a break
Something just doesn't feel right about the Suli "event".Its one thing being self righteous and having the highest expectations, but were losing too many of our best young talents and having to buy replacements at premium price.
Its not a winning formula

I don't think you comprehend the notion that Suli was a lost cause with the Tigers. Management did everything they possibly could to get him back on track and focused and he simply wasn't interested. Do you want to pay a bloke 460k per year to sit on his backside and gain weight, not put in and string the club along while everyone else does the right thing - puts in the hard yards and shows the club the respect it deserves?
Letting Suli go was the only course of action the Tigers could take.

X2 Well said.
