Cartwright has just been released by Penrith to head to the GC.
Another example of late roster movement - I'd wager we'll end up signing someone currently contracted, given we have a bit of $$ to play with.

Everyone has to start somewhere.

I just expected something a bit more special from a 9 year wait.

Looks like it's true

Comment in regards to Tyrone Peachey interesting

Don't mind Tyrone Peachey myself …....

Thoughts

Where will you play him? Centre or as a utility. And yes I would like to see him at the tigers.

Don't get your hopes up, I'm sure the Titans will find room for both players - they always do.

Always thought Cartwtight was a back row forward…meh..

Penrith have back rowers coming out of their wazoo , won't miss Cartwright if true

It's true..Gus said so…

Was referring to colmcd suggesting he is behind halves..

Wonder why we didn't male a play..could be more to it with Cartwright wanting out of Dodge for other reasons..

Other then Griffin and Gould, Cleary is probably the most knowledgeable coach on the happenings of the Penrith Panthers. If Cleary isn't signing there is a reason.

Witness Protection I'm betting ….. he isn't the most loved footballer after the situation with the ex ....

I think Garth Brennan was at the Panthers for a few years..he might be familiar with Cartwright..

I think it's a combination of Brennan being at the Titans and Bryce needing to get out of Penrith/Sydney.

Good move by the pennies. Release 2 morons on big $:

- Moylan when they had good/better alternatives at fb and 5/8
- Cartwright who was supposed to be a backrower but played like a 5/8 and terrible defender, and again better alternatives in the back row

I would be sniffing around Souths. They appear to have an abundance of outside backs: Burns, Hunt, Arthars, Kennar, Jennings, Talakai & Fuimaono.

Surely they will not all play 1st grade (Souths actually have 37 players listed as NRL players on their website).

Otherwise I would look at the cowboys with Bowen, Gela-Moseby or Marcus Jensen.

Bowen could be a good one if the attitude is right.

NYC coach , link also with old man as an ex Titans coach and the youngest Cartwright played at the Titans at NYC level

Bloody almost like an episode of Bonanza

Used to love the old Bonanza restaurants , great steaks , did you have them in NSW , can't remember seeing any ??

Yeah I like Bowen as well - could be a very solid FGer given a proper run of games in one position.
As fast as he is, I want no part of GGM.

I'd say Jesse Ramien would be the pick of all those mentioned, I'd be happy to see us chase him hard when he comes off contract. I don't see Marsters as a long term centre.

I believe jesse Ramien is off contract this year. Tom Opacic aswell

Sione Katoa (the winger from the Sharks) is another one that would be worth keeping an eye on. Goes a bit sideways sometimes but has a lot of power.
